That's what scares me, and should scare every single (legally) registered voter-not matter their political persuasion.
If one party can do it, so can the other. It's past time to address election irregularities and fraud.

No one tried fake electors. They were challenging the results. They are well within their rights.

Now. Nothing they could have sent would have detracted from the actual appointed electors. These are done differently in each state and I recommend you look it up.

The states that want to award based on National Popular Vote...Uh...no. That is not what the founding fathers wanted. If they win in a state but lose the the popular they lose votes? That is disenfranchisement.
