It used to be that nations would haul off the people of nations they conquered. They would take them back home to become servants. That happened to the Jews and Philistines and many others. The ones in Egypt never left Egypt for a long time.
Many from Mesopotamia never left there even in Ezra's day.
The end of the Babylonian Exile did not end Jews living in Babylon.
And Jews were still living in the Judean environs the whole time of the "exile".

Also, the Samaritans never left either. There are still some around Mount Gerizim (near both Nablus and biblical Shechem), the "real holy place" rather than Jerusalem. Although many of them, and Jews too were forced to convert to Christianity during Byzantine times.

When I think about it, it's like slow gradual migrations are more peaceful than military backed mass migrations, with guns, flamethrowers, tanks, and bulldozers.

The whole argument centers around people like you arguing for Oct 7th as if it happened in a vacuum.
