I need another favor

A while back I asked for prayer for my Sister who had cancer and you folks came through with flying colors!! She is doing well, back to work full time and enjoying life. I firmly believe that you guys had something to do with that and you have my heartfelt thanks.

My wife and I came to Central Illinois to visit the kids and in laws for a couple of days and were going to leave today, but tragedy struck. We went to my wife's parents at 8 AM yesterday, sat around and talked and looked at blankets. My MIL LOVES to sew and has over 100 handmade blankets. She gives them away and uses that as a reason to make more. We were there till about10 and they had somewhere to go, so we said " See ya tomorrow " and went about our day, intending to stop by before we left. Everything was perfectly normal.

We got a call at 4 PM that she had had a massive heart attack. 100% blockage of an artery, what they call a " widow maker"

She is in Cardiac ICU and it's touch and go. Hour by hour and they can't make any promises.

She is the definition of " tough ol broad". She is the Matriarch of my wife's family. She is "the glue that binds"
There are not many people in this world that I like and respect.... She is one of them.

So if you would please, say a prayer for her. Her name is JoAnn.

I hope she comes through it pal .. I’m not religious but I will send positive thoughts .. my MIL is in hospital after having a stroke and also has cancer .. life’s hard as fck sometimes but stay positive and hopefully it gets better ❤️

I am happy to do so, David-and as a quilter I'll be praying she comes through and kicks you azz for calling a quilt a 'blanket'. Hopefully, she'll be explaining the difference to you soon!

Sorry to hear of this happening. I am glad that your sister is doing well anyway.

Someone here may have some influence with those who write the script of our reality...I am confident it is not me but I will say a prayer anyway. Maybe all the prayers from everyone will give the strength to heal, an accumulative healing.
