That part to me is terrifying.

For years now I’ve been getting alerts that there are MILFs in my area, and they’re eager to meet me.

I too was shocked to read that.

Why are Democrats upset that the bill asked them to support Israeli citizens, the Jewish faith, and the country of Israel?

It is precisely this line:

Netanyahu and Greenblatt have never minded this, because Trump has reserved most of his violent ire for “liberal Jews,” a group that many Zionists also hold in great contempt. With every anti-Jewish attack stoked by Trump, from Charlottesville to Pittsburgh, Netanyahu steps in to thank Trump and say that this is proof that Jews need their own ethno-state for protection. The opposite is true. What Jews need is a mass left resistance to antisemitism and that resistance also needs to be against Zionism and for Palestinian liberation. If antisemitism is “the socialism of fools,” then Zionism is Judaism for reactionaries.

As a left, we need to fight against any hint of antisemitism in our ranks. But ridding the struggle of this scourge is our job, not the job of a Congress trying to squelch protest and dissent. Every day I am hearing from people whose employment is being threatened over Instagram posts or surreptitiously taped classroom lectures. HR 894 will fuel this suffocating reaction. We need to say no to the war on Gaza and no to the brazen neo-McCarthyism aimed at silencing critics. As Jews, we also need to be aware that our best hope against antisemitism lies in defeating Israel’s dual campaign to raze Gaza and bind our fate to those war crimes.

It is not in the purview of the legislature - neither federal nor state - to legislate morality and public opinion.

Today, you want a bill passed to to legislate what peopel think about jews and zionism. Tomorrow it'll be about some other race or religion. Before you know it, every damned thing you think will be legislated by the congress and we will all be guilty of thoughtcrime.

Word usage diverges from reality sometimes.

The word anti-semite implies that Semites are people who speak a Semitic language.
Whereas the word antisemite is understood to refer to Jews alone; all others having been excluded from inclusion.

Our lords and masters of usage, IHRA ( International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance ), have dictated that the unhyphenated word be used.

Surely it's a good thing to vote for facts over feels?

They're universally recognised as two different words with completely seperate definitions in every dictionary ever written - trying to pass legislation that they're one and the same is silly. If the vote passed it is open to abuse and claims that any criticism of the Israeli government would be anti-semitism.

Plenty of Jews are anti-zionists and of the view religious states are more of a hinderance than a help to stability and Israeli Settlers in Gaza and West Bank are recognised as illegal under both Israeli and International law.

Israel rightly sees Israeli settlers as illegal and provocative due to their practice of bullding villages and killing their occupants in the west bank and gaza due to an extremist interpretation of Judaism and expansion of Israel's bobrders - this legislation would have branded the state of Israel and 99.9% of Israeli's as anti-zionist and antisemitic if it had passed.

None of that side argument stuff is important.

What's important is, that the dems are on record for historically voting against people of all kinds, proclamation of slaves gaining freedom, woman's liberty to vote the 1940s or any opportunity for we the people to decide for themselves.

Democrat party voted against freeing slaves, voted against woman's liberation and voting against anti semitism should come as no surprise. If you are surprised, start paying better attention.

Democrats will never, do anything to benefit the American people, they have fully adopted an anti American disposition.

Corrupt career parasite politicians, are greedy narcissists.
