I'm glad to see him gone. He was a raging mess. BUT, he didn't get due process and he was elected by the people. So we are on a slippery slope. This article speculates on who else should be booted now that the bar has been lowered. It's just a matter of time before everyone is facing the boot - elected by the people or not.

Well, who would you boot out?
Or are you against booting anyone since they are elected and that's the way the system works.

With Santos Expelled Who Else Should Be Booted

“We have a colleague in the Senate that actually did much more sinister and serious kinds of things: Senator [Bob] Menendez,” opined Senator John “Hoodie” Fetterman. “He needs to go. And if you are going to expel Santos, how can you allow somebody like Menendez to remain in the Senate?” He added that “Menendez is really a senator for Egypt, not New Jersey. I really think he needs to go.”

Menendez has indeed been charged with bribery, but he has not yet been convicted, and the last time a senator was expelled for any reason was the War Between the States. So, paging Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

What about a few other select members of Congress? We’re thinking specifically of “Squad” members Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar. Tlaib has vocally supported “the Palestinians,” and she has ties to Hamas, whose terrorists killed 1,200 Israelis and 33 Americans in October.

Omar is a tax cheat and home-wrecker who “married” her brother to flout U.S. immigration law. Her campaign has been accused of voter fraud. Earlier this year, she was booted from the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Then there’s Representative Jamaal Bowman, the New York Democrat who illegally pulled a fire alarm to obstruct congressional proceedings and worked out a sweetheart deal for a slap on the wrist.

Then the people that voted for him may not be to terribly smart.
You say lowered the bar I say your definition of low is really low.

And whoever replaces him and gets his votes I would question them and their ability to think. As they would be just as bad.

Like Santos, Bob Menendez has also been indicted by the department of Justice.

And, as John Fetterman stated the other day on The View, Bob Menendez has allegedly done far worse things than George Santos, due to committing international crimes that may have compromised United States security and policy in the world.

Definitely Bob Menendez. And also, all of the congress members who were complicit in the Jan 6th debacle should be removed from office.

No congress members should ever be expelled because of their heritage, religion or political leanings.

Every damn one of them.

They need a reminder of who they work for.

It's interesting how members of Congress vote to expel someone whom they themselves did not elect. I don't think they even ask the constituents who put the member in office, what they think.

Booted ... why not shoot for the top ... BIDEN.
Of course that would leave us with airhead Kamala.
And it would also leave us still with Obama pulling their strings.

With this ADDITIONAL INDICTMENT, it is now EVEN MORE IMPERATIVE that Congressman BOB MENENDEZ be expelled/removed from the United States Senate, ASAP!

Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) was accused in a second superseding indictment Tuesday of accepting gifts from the Qatari government and for helping a New Jersey real estate developer obtain millions in investment funds from the Gulf country, adding to the former Senate Foreign Relations chairman’s legal woes.

The allegations add to the four criminal charges filed in September and October against the longtime New Jersey lawmaker. Menendez was charged with bribery, fraud, extortion and acting as a foreign agent on behalf of Egypt, with the new accusations adding the involvement of Qatar.
