So how about:

Miss Jones, the paragon of womanly virtue, who bucked the ubiquitous transvestite trend of wearing men's trousers, rewarded from on high for her steadfastness to wearing dresses that covered the ankles, is now wheeled around on the talk show circuit, an inspiration to the women of this decadent age to look back to the former glory days when men were men and women weren't.

We will not mention that she was driving a car.

Well obviously, we're not talking about the same Miss Jones. Traditional is not a descriptor that comes up with that one.

The one I know of is a lapsed Catholic nymphomaniac from Mass. And it would be unfortunate if that was all a facade masking a passive muslim identity, as the spy rumor was so much better for her.

And before you get confused, unless it's a smaller world than I thought, I was talking about a "Ms. Jones" I came across on religious websites. People always accused her of being a government shill, or a narcissist, or wanting to command a personality cult.

If Maude was an outspoken libertarian cult leader.

Very unintentionally humorous choice of name you picked. Especially because she always seems to be around every time websites go all screwy and split in two.

The name was chosen for being almost as generic as Doe.
Any similarity to any actual person is purely coincidental.

Oh I know, it was just humorous. Very common name. Probably why she chose it.

But I get the subtext. For the few that aren't a walking irony of al salaam this turn of events must be anything but.
