you are right that technology exists which can provide more energy than it consumes to make it.

This is highly disputable, but I've seen some of the possibilities.

The largest problem is that the scalability is highly limited. OEI generators (output exceeds input) generate exceptionally small amounts of energy for short periods of time and will never be able to scale to the point of powering a tiny home, much less and entire city.

Conservation of energy is: Wait and see

Law of entropy is: I know I checked that drawer, a hundred times for my keys... But I'm going to look there again.

Graphite it is; A lubricant on a lubricant on a lubricant in it's structure. Now add graphene; Graphene is the strongest material ever recorded, more than three hundred times stronger than A36 structural steel; At 130 gigapascals and more than forty times stronger than a diamond.

There's the lubricant, the structural materials, the electric potential as well as energy production when exploiting the; Hall effect... Seeing how "it" is essentially the same material throughout the entire structure? The manufacturing would conserve energy in it's production.

New solar tech allows all year round electricity production, even here in Scotland, from news reports I've read. But yeah, agree that hopefully there's better to come.
