It isn't false equivalence, because, as the article states, the nukes dropped on Japan are measured as estimated explosive equivalence, and the only way for this to be false equivalence is for the engineers to just be plain wrong about the estimated explosive equivalence unit itself.

10,000 rockets x 144kg = 1,440,000kg / 1000 = 1,440 tons = 1.44kt or about 1/10th of 1 Hiroshima nuke [10-15kt].

Did you look at the numbers in the topic source for IDF?

The rights group’s statement underlined that Israel uses bombs with huge destructive power, some of which range from 150 to 1,000 kilograms, and cited a recent statement by Israeli War Minister Yoav Gallant that declared that more than 10,000 bombs have been dropped on Gaza City alone.

Low: 150 X 10,000 = 1,500,000 = 1.5kt

High: 1,000 X 10,000 = 10,000,000 = 10kt

The figure from Gallant is more than 10,000 bombs, 2 weeks ago, how does the volume and rate over time compare?

I strongly suggest that neither side is acting reasonably with a conscience 'towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood' and hence they are NOT humans and are instead MONSTERS!

I tend to feel that way as well, but it's so polluting, and wasteful, and innocent people get slaughtered.

If you are going to use that false equivalency, then technically in the USA last week we used the energy equivalent of 3 nuclear bombs using internal combustion engines to deliver freight to grocery stores.

The oceans on this planet delivered more energy equivalence last week than that using the moon to make waves.

My math was wrong by the number days between oct 9th and nov 2nd. NOT 33 days but 24 days.


It was OVER 10,000bombs / 24 days = 416.66 bombs per day

19 days after article and continuous bombardment at a rate of 416.66 bombs per day = 7,916.66

So as the revised under reported estimates:

Low: 17,916.66bombs X 150kg = 2.687499kt

High: 17,916.6bombs X 1,000kg = 17.916666kt
