I have seen plenty of them been asked questions just like tye one you raise and every time they obfuscate and deflect on to figures of how many "extra deaths" climate change causes.

On the contrary its because you seem to not understand how disruption in one area of central London feeds back to other locations.

Why because there are lots of schools around Trafalgar Square? Are there?

Do the emergency services not know how to use their sirens in London?

The disruption is pretty minimal. I don't have any particular sympathy for this group, but I respect that they make the effort.

Same applies in any city in the UK. Not all, but most city traffic planning is/was and continues to be appalling. London is just bigger than most UK cities. But personal vehicles are a pox on the planet wherever they are.

You're not going to get any sympathy from me regarding cars. I see absolutely no necessity for personal vehicles, other than the pedal variety.

Is there a "15 minute city" stock that you've invested in?

I am sorry, I do not understand the question.

Ultimately, if they win, you won't know about the deception because it will be removed from history. If you find an old text book buried in your back yard (if anyone still has those) and learn the truth and laugh or even talk about it, you will be sent to a re-education camp.

The 15 minute city plan, where everyone lives in a high rise closet, kinda like a bees honeycomb, in some city, where you don't need a car for anything because everything is a bus ride away. It's part of the "You will own nothing and be happy" plan.

I don't agree with the methods of these just stop oil people or most of what they are saying, but the school run has got a little silly now.
I used to walk or cycle to school, now it's one parent and one child in a range rover who lives less than a mile away.

And you don't consider the parent then drives many miles to go to work. You only see one part of a trip then make a lot of assumptions.

The main sources of funding for JSO and similar groups are from public donations and more importantly from the Climate Emergency Fund

That's still no excuse for the Range Rover.

Thank you for the explanation. I could've just answered no, as I don't own any stocks, but I like to know.

My commute is a brisk 38 minutes walk. Cycling would be a fraction of the time - I can go miles in 38 minutes by bike - but I like the walk. And indeed, I don't own much beyond my furniture and bits, but yes, I am happy.

EDIT: I heard one man was on his way to stop the protest, but he missed his stop.

Okay, I'm done now.

Who sincerely says that they are alright, therefore everyone else must be.
There are billions of humans, some disabled, some old, some with afflictions, some with really not a lot of money, who depend on their old car to put food on the table etc etc

You can't be so egocentrical to think everyone's life is exactly like yours.
From age 5, we are capable of including others in our thoughts. You seem to have missed that mark.

I get laughed at now as it is, but I'm not one of the ones duped. I can't see future generations laughing about anything until people become un-duped on a massive scale.

That we can agree on, a motor designed to take on rough terrain and all obstacles.. Or anyone who gets in your way on the school run.

Around fifty turned up. Fifteen were arrested almost immediately and they never made it to Whitehall. Let's hope every action this week is as well attended and successful.

I don't know, who? I didn't. Not even close. So it must be someone else you're thinking of, or perhaps it's just your reading comprehension is very poor. I eagerly await your reply so I can decide which.

And? Did you have a point? Or simply stating the obvious. Well of course some people are trapped by a world designed for cars, I am simply on the side of those who believe we can redesign a future without them.

How many of those disabled people are disabled because of cars, directly and indirectly? Accidents? Production lines? Birth defects? How many are simply dead because they live in the place where their natural resources are desired by the West and destabilisation of the local population facilitates their exploitation?

Did you know that the places that the poorest people live often correlate with the places with the highest level of pollution? Just look at the US

Big LOLS. I recommend that you start work on your critical thinking skills - and that applies to the two muppets who starred your truly thought-free post.
