There were of course also rumors that it got pulled for posts suggesting the quake was the result of a tsunami weapon.

Click on forums, choose a category and click on flags to order by popularity. Obviously most flagged doesn't guarantee quality or standing the test of time but you will (re)discover some true nuggets of what captured the minds of ATS members over the years.

Just too bad the really good ones got deleted.
Can't have people figuring things out for themselves now can we.

Best threads and besp posters don't follow any narrative.

Add "Black Triangles" by Astr0 to that list

All Roads Lead to Rome is up there with my top 5 fave threads of all time on here (Black Triangles is also in there!)

Another way to get to interesting posts/threads: if you like what a specific ATS member wrote click on their username to get to their profile. Default view will give you the most recent threads of that person but just like in your own profile you can sort by flags, posts, etc.

Clicking on the lil green guy under someone's stats/avatar will give you additional options. The perhaps most useful being posts in thread. Click on that to see only posts by that person within a thread that goes on for dozens or even hundreds of pages.

Additional potential shortcut: replace username in the URL by another username to get to their contributions.

Ooh, the one about bbt and the breakaway civilization that baddogma started would be a good addition to that list too. I'm still subscribed to it, it's the only old thread I had that didn't disappear.
