This is necessary but unfortunately I don't think Israel's allies are ready to let this happen.

The way I see it, both the Israeli leadership and the Hamas leadership are war criminals. They should be arrested and tried in court.

If Putin can't leave his country, why should Netanyahu be allowed to? Putin couldn't go to the BRICS meeting in SAR because he was going to be arrested. Why should Netanyahu have special privileges for the same crimes?

Russia is a bigger, more powerful and more influential nation than Israel. Same rules should apply to smaller nations.

Yeah lotta people dont realise that Spain was an honest to God, Fascist country as recently as 1976.

Crazy to my mind cos its in my lifetime.

And it was only a little while ago they were sending the cops out to batter the Catalans who were trying to vote in a referendum.

What a winning argument as always..

A very interesting find: But as a believing Muslim observing Islam, I am compelled by the Quran to support Israel’s sole claim to the Holy Land; the Quran says it is so.

The 80,000-word document 1.6 billion Muslims accept as the revealed word of God, the Quran, is categorical about the destiny of Israel and the people who can claim its ownership.

The Quran states: “Moses said to his people: O my people! Remember the bounty of God upon you when He bestowed prophets upon you, and made you kings and gave you that which had not been given to anyone before you amongst the nations. O my people! Enter the Holy Land which God has written for you, and do not turn tail, otherwise you will be losers.”

Nowhere does the Quran make mention of the Muslims’ claim to the Holy Land. Instead, God reveals in the Quran that The Holy Land is designated for the followers of Moses. Because the Promised Land is theirs according to the Quran, only the followers of Moses may determine where their capital must lie.

It is this Islamic truth that political Islamists vehemently deny.

It’s time Muslims examined this other occupation of Islam by Islamism. In the guise of advocating for the Palestinian cause, many conceal or find socially accepted release for rabid yet sanitized anti-Semitism.

Unsurprisingly, arch-Islamists Hamas and Hezbollah, masquerading as Muslims, quickly announced ‘the Gates of Hell’ were to open in response to Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Hamas preachers in Gaza called for Palestinians to ‘rise up and stab Jews’.

One Muslim commentator echoed the sentiments of millions of Muslims around the world when he dismissed the Quranic declaration of Israel as the promised land for the Jews as irrelevant claiming, “The Quran is not a historical document.”

Better address the issue.

Spanish minister backs legal initiative to bring Israel before ICC for 'war crimes' in Palestine

There is a growing number of politicians and lawyers who have argued in favour of sanctions against Israel and want to bring Israel before the International Criminal Court to face war crime charges.

Public opinion is also against the ultra right wing fascistoid Government of Israel.

Your whole religious post is beside the point.

Religion is no excuse for genocide, regardless of what religious text you believe in. These people should be in the International Criminal Court for war crimes and killings of innocent civilians. What some book told them to do, in the name of some god, is not a valid legal defense.

Public opinion can be very harsh from all sides. This person has since retracted and apologized for what he stated but is this the real sentiment that needs to be stifled and/or miscategorized as hate speech?

War crimes also include cutting off water and power to civilians and refusing to negotiate as Netanyahu has done here. It becomes obvious that Netanyahu has his own agenda which does not include any type of compromise, agreement nor negotiation.

That's not war crimes and is just standard when entering a war. For example after Russians invaded Ukraine sanctions were put in place. Take any conflict and the waring parties stop all trade. Why should Israel continue to supply food water
and electricity to a group that attacked them?

If they want Israeli aid then Hamas can turn over their weapons and negotiate a peace deal. That in fact could be written in the peace terms

Not an argument. I was providing some context before you all started running away to shower Nobel Peace Prizes on the Spanish.

Public opinion is against the war. No sane person will support the hostilities. Israel has lost the communications war and this can be seen by the various calls for ceasefire and protests all over the world.

Once the critical point is reached (not yet) we will see further developments.

Who doesn't want to see al those ego have committed war crimes to be brought before the ICC.

Israel has isolated itself with the indiscriminate killings of thousands of innocent civilians.

These are war crimes. Only those who apologise for Israel don't seem them as such.

The rest are here but they are more

1) Complete siege of Gaza
2) Incitement to genocide
3) Collective punishment
4) Forced expulsion
5) Disproportional aerial bombardment of the civilian population
6) Attacks on civilian structures, hospitals, and humanitarian workers

Many make comparisons that somehow are unfortunate.

There is no doubt that the Government of Israel consists of extreme ultra right wing fascistoids who are a real danger both for the people of Israel and for the wider area.

Hamas never lists any of their soldiers as killed.

So Hamas forces civilians to fight? Or Hamas cowers as civilians?
