Mike Johnson Looks to More Evidence Being Needed Before Impeachment of Biden

It seems more solid evidence is required to take action according to Mike Johnson.

"We’ll just go where the evidence goes and we’re not there yet," Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) said, paraphrasing Johnson's comments on the inquiry from the Republican Governance Group's weekly lunch on Tuesday. "Most of us are saying, look, we can’t even get a single Democratic vote on this right now. I think the voters will reject what they are seeing when it comes to Biden [policies] — but high crimes and misdemeanors? I don’t think we’ve seen that or enough data to really make a good case and I feel like [Johnson] really agreed with us on that," the Washington Post reports.

This is the best strategy I've heard yet. The Republicans are doing a great job along with the Democrats. We should applaud their work in such perilous times such as these.

Its too soon. The impeachment needs to start AFTER the primary and it's too late to change the candidate.

But even if they had a trail of undeniable evidence a mile long, there won't be a single democrat vote to kick him out.

Unless the dems WANT him out. But that becomes a matter of timing, see my first sentence.

Doubt it; this is just another example of why the Republicans don't stand a chance against the Democrats. They simply aren't willing to take the fight to the Democrats. They are to risk adverse; they can't make a single move with out having political cover first.

If their strategy is to wait until Democrats are on board in impeaching Joe Biden they are going to be waiting forever. They might as well give up the ghost and move on.
