That is terrible, I know how you feel too. One month after open heart surgery I felt way off and called my heart Doctor. They told me he was backed up for 3 months and I should go visit ER lol!

The medical business is falling apart!

Glad you are on the mend and still with us.

My little brother had heart replacement surgery about 15 years ago, still going strong.

Needs to go down to a hospital in Newcastle every 3 months for a check-up but that's about it aside from the medications and Immunosuppressant.

We are here in the UK all the same with the NHS on its arse, i don't think they are apt to be handing out Alcatel never mind new iPhones.

As to them trying to stop or cut out doctor visits, well i imagine if there was anything wrong or going wrong the technology would prompt a visit to the doctor, the app just like the phone is a tool JJproductions.

And just like any tool, the purpose to which its set will donate benevolence or malevolence.

Howdy, friend. The new Cardi app for phone tests for AFIB in 30 secs. With coming A.I. principles, I think we'll still need present, medical professionals (like me, Emergency Triage)..to supervisor things forward....

PS JJ 2 heart surgeries Chronic AFIB patient for 15 years) myself. Cya

That is most likely one of the apps I will have.

Two open heart??? Omg! You went through the removal of sternum wires and a re saw of your sternum! No one should have to do one but you had 2!!! Wow!

I get Doctor on Demand for free through work, and it's been good to me a few times. I video chatted with a doctor, showed her my shingles, was diagnosed and given a prescription without leaving my house.

Shingles sucks, btw.

Oh, I feel for you! I've had shingles, and it's beyond awful. I wound up getting the vaccine for it.

I'm so glad you're doing well after your heart surgery. My late husband had a quadruple bypass in 2014. They had to cut his sternum like they did yours. I can't even imagine. My husband told me the first time he sneezed after the surgery, he felt like his heart was coming out of his chest.

I am so sorry about your husband! I can take a lot of pain but the sneezing and cough after your sternum is cut it the worst pain EVER! I can’t even describe it! Your husband was right!

I don’t remember this but after my surgery I told off the whole ICU and the surgeon! Calling them the worst names! It was just when I woke up. They tied my hands to the bed, thinking I was going to pull out the tubes in my chest! Lol

No open heart....years ago, test patient on a robotics crew, up thru the groin both sides, cautherizing ablation and a few other nasties...but cleaned out the garage this weekend, 71...playing local rock n roll band stuff...Im good.

And the 2nd event....my own Captain sent the crew of my guys to come get me at FORDs where I was Exec Sercurity in AFIB denial.

9 guys, 3 rigs, sirens and my Captain...went like this."Youre in AFIB at 210 and climbing. Youve got MY iv in your arm, your in my rig...theres 9 of us, and one of you. Youre GOING!"

He received award from the American Heart Association for saving my life in 2009.

You know...cherish each day brother....the farther away I see the past, the close I get t tomorrow. I think its the right direction.

Take care of yourself for your family. And God loves you.
Cya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Denial? Holy crap...all day Capt calling me w "How is it now? Finally convinced me after I say..." Ok Capt. I'll go....AS.SOON.AS.I.GET.OFF." Wrong thing to tell him

This being within the FoMoCo/Dearborn Police n Fire Facilities, Oakwood Hospital in the distance, all facilities within a 5 ml radius....soooo......

Sirens building and getting louder...look out my office, hook n ladder, Rescue, and Fire Utility Truck on the way...." Son of a bi-ch"... And I casually walk out to them.(denial still). "Hi guys!"... Jacket comes off, sweater pulled up, aspirin n nitro under tongue, iv in my arm.

"Soooo! Capt sent you huh? My one partner unwrapping the b.p.cuff just looked at me n smiled, pointing behind me. "Yes. I did. You're going". "Oh! Hey there Capt!". Crap. Really busted.

The conversation mentioned previously then ensued. We've done many FEMAs, Homeland Sec, Er Mangmnt events thru the years, and I became 2nd in that command, and monthly publisher and editor for the ER Mangmnt Newsletter.

Today...he owns n teaches at PKSA Karate Flatrock....me, Im playing piano n vocals in a new show callwed "Harmonium".

Bottom line? God will put people, places, illnesses...yes, them too...directly in our paths when we need them most. Like you...and me. Take care of yourself. Jesus saved me...it matters not in which Divinity you believe....what matters is that you do. Peace
