There is a black budget included in the military budget. Where are you getting your numbers from? Source? Anything official or is it something you heard from someone on the internet somewhere?

The black budget is not entirely included in military spending.

Ask the Cocaine Importers Association for more information.

You are on a conspiracy theory site.

Think harder.

Start with David Rumsfeld, if you want to...

Ok. I say we address the things we KNOW are happening for sure before we start worrying about things that may or may not be happening depending on what blog you read.

How much is the defense budget?

Pick your source, 3-5 trillion is more than any of them say we even spend on the reported defense budget.

So we have three of the top five air forces (Air Force, army, navy), almost as many aircraft carriers as the world combined… but we’re spending more on black ops than the actual defense fund?

So you won't do your due diligence.

Stay ignorant then.

Just pointing out how your outrage rings hollow when their are bigger issues that you seem to be unwilling to address or acknowledge.

This is a drop in the ocean compared to the things you should actually be angry about.

Is that what you're doing?

Because it looks like you're trying to deflect and divert from the topic.

Your "bigger" issues are irrelevant as is what you believe I should be angry about.

Go cry about it if that bothers you....or make a thread.

When Nato decided it was in the best interests of the world to just firebomb Afghanistan's poppy fields to get rid of the opium problem, the USA voted no.

How long have we been in Afghanistan?

Since the 60's.

Where is the money coming from for black ops?

Such a quandary.

Due diligence with what? Reading some random blogs?

You aren't doing YOUR due diligence by ignoring the bloated military budget that is right there for everyone to see. You don't get that kind of money without blood on your hands.

Sorry but $300 million is crumbs in the grand scheme of things.

I bet you hardly even blinked when Trump passed through that $100 billion increase to the military a few years ago. It had bipartisan support but since Trump was attached to it you just full throated the boot without a second thought.

We spent a hell of a lot over decades there, and I won’t argue that it’s lower than trillions (over multiple decades). But I’m still at a loss on how we spend more on off the book budgets than we do for the largest defense infrastructure in the world.

Afghanistan has a 15b~ gdp a year. Not hard to swing the poppy trade.

But I suppose this ties back to why the GOP can’t win. Part of it is that they capitulate to federalism which they claim to be the champion against. The other reason is the hyperbole from the base, and their willingness to proclaim grandiose “facts” while saying you can’t prove me wrong because it’s a conspiracy.

Plenty of people in the country live with distrust of the politicians. Many know you have to read between the lines, and theirs some f###ery afoot. But independents are lost when these larger than life claims are made with nothing to back them up.

Independents win elections, not your base. That goes for the left and the right. Typically, by popular vote the left has an upper hand because of cities (god only knows why). So every single national election comes down to swing states and independents.

Is the left absolutely bat sh##? Yup, just look at their candidate, a shell of a politician.

But the right constantly bucks back on the worst issues when they could focus on the economy while keeping their broader platform closer to the chest until they’re in power.

Who initially started the broader Middle East campaign? Who proposed the patriot act? Which admin had the lions share of spending in the 2000’s proportional to years in power? Is the left innocent? No, they voted on a lot of the above along side. It’s uniparty. And we can act like there are outliers in the right who fight back, but their track record doesn’t support that premise.

Maybe later, if Trump gets elected.

I gave you a clue (David Rumsfeld) as a start... he was trying to explain in 2001 why the Defense budget was short by 2.3 trillion.

Our defense budget is too big because we spend more than the next 24 countries under us combined on defense.

We do that because in places like Japan, we have to do so because of the treaty we signed with them after nuclear bombing them.

We do that because we are the biggest part of NATO and go where called.

We do that because the Military Industrial Complex owns many of our representatives and we have to.

However.

That has nothing to do with Black Ops... at all.

Take the time to learn the difference.

I don't doubt there is a black budget that isn't on the books but you can't just throw a number out there and act like it's a fact.

Isn't that what you want, to overthrow the government? Isn't that what you're getting all worked up about, the FBI getting funding for a new building, while you think Congress should be defunding them? Isn't that what MGT's budget tactics and her recent rash of appropriation's amendments are all about, cutting the salaries of Cabinet level department heads to $1, and just shut down the government and make sure it doesn't work.

Most republican politicians are spineless tools who suck sexual appendages. For nickels.

Behind a bowling alley.

Just my personal opinion.

The really sad thing?

These spineless tools who suck behind bowling alley parking lots are still better than democrats.

Overthrow? No.

Shut down, yes.

Shrink, yes.

Reduce taxpayer blackholes, yes.

Yet you find this a partisan issue.....

Overthrow? No.

Shut down, yes.

And replace it. You want a Civil War and anarchy, because that's exactly what you get when you destroy law and order infrastructure.
