Hamas is hiding behind the rules of war yet not following them themselves.

I wasn’t really looking at it as an excuse for anyone.
Just observing a double standard on the unachievable goal of following rules in war. It’s a bit of an oxymoron.
When you look at the horrors of war and the rules that are constantly made and broken it’s fairly futile.
We had many laws and rules come out after WW2 and it doesn’t look like much changed in subsequent wars.
Nuremberg turned out to be fairly toothless when it came to forced medical procedures. As a recent example.
I’m just pointing out that it’s fairly hypocritical to hold one country to what seems to be an unattainable standard when NATO can’t even meet the grade.

The topic is in the Middle East thread because NATO / Russia had an agreement to follow rules that Russia broke.
In order to maintain a level playing field NATO scrapped it as well.
I am using it as an example of the situation Israel finds itself in because Hamas will not follow the rules.
Does Israel not have the right to level the playing field just like NATO?
The AP, CNN, Reuters, and The New York Times used footage and photos from reporters embedded with Hamas terrorists during their slaughter of hundreds of Jews.
AP reporter Hassan Eslaiah took photos and video while traveling with Hamas killers during the massacre. Hassan also provided photos to CNN.
As Breitbart News reported Wednesday, the Associated Press said that it had no foreknowledge of the attack, even though its photographers appeared alongside Hamas terrorists from the first moments that they broke through the Gaza border fence.

I would say you entirely misread my answer.
I say level Russia, with Iran, all allies and whoever else wants some

That photo of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar kissing that smiling “journalist” Hassan Eslaiah sure is damning.
I wonder how many more of those creatures were imbedded with the terrorists that day.
He probably thinks he still has journalist immunity.
It’s just been revoked.
