Hamas is hiding behind the rules of war yet not following them themselves.

People were screaming about war crimes before bodies in Israel were cold, but now we are getting a ton more information of just what Hamas has been up to. More will poor out as Israel takes over the area, but I'm sure people will ignore it and still complain about Israel.

The truth is coming out but you’re right, it’s not “their truth” so it will be ignored.

Idiot civilian communicates his truth and meets the military.

What am I smelling here? The whiff of an excuse perhaps? The justification for the horror being visited on Gaza? Oh well, nobody abides by the rules anymore so you know, tough really.

Except it doesn’t justify it. Nothing does. It is abhorrent when any side behaves like this, and that goes double for Hamas.

I wasn’t really looking at it as an excuse for anyone.

Just observing a double standard on the unachievable goal of following rules in war. It’s a bit of an oxymoron.

When you look at the horrors of war and the rules that are constantly made and broken it’s fairly futile.

We had many laws and rules come out after WW2 and it doesn’t look like much changed in subsequent wars.

Nuremberg turned out to be fairly toothless when it came to forced medical procedures. As a recent example.

I’m just pointing out that it’s fairly hypocritical to hold one country to what seems to be an unattainable standard when NATO can’t even meet the grade.

You’re doing it again to be honest. Shouldn’t we hold ourselves to higher standards? I mean if you’re going to bomb the crap out of a city at least let them have food and water, maybe electricity for their hospitals. Those things are not just unhappy collateral but actual brutal decision making that obviously and demonstrably impacts the citizens of Gaza.

Like someone said, the USA would not bomb a school because one shooter was in it. There are levels. One of the worlds most powerful militaries vs a bunch of idiot scumbags with AK’s and RPG’s?

We have to have higher standards. Your argument is the same as, ‘nuke the place, we’ll get Hamas then. The rest, well, too bad. ‘

In the history of warfare can you think of a time that an army sent or allowed supplies into a city that was under siege?

Honest question, there may have been a time this happened but I couldn’t find one.

They warn civilians to leave the area before they attack with announcements, flyers and roof knocks.
If you don’t know what a roof knock is, take 33 seconds and watch this.

It’s not a requirement in a war to provide your enemy with food or water or electricity.

The topic is in the Middle East thread because NATO / Russia had an agreement to follow rules that Russia broke.

In order to maintain a level playing field NATO scrapped it as well.

I am using it as an example of the situation Israel finds itself in because Hamas will not follow the rules.

Does Israel not have the right to level the playing field just like NATO?

Well, you know what else is wrong with all this? It turns out that western journalists were embedded with Hamas during their attack. That means that lonely western journalists knew ahead of time it was happening. Did they warn anybody or just use it to the advantage of Hamas terrorist and leftist media?
www.thegatewaypundit.com...

The AP, CNN, Reuters, and The New York Times used footage and photos from reporters embedded with Hamas terrorists during their slaughter of hundreds of Jews.

AP reporter Hassan Eslaiah took photos and video while traveling with Hamas killers during the massacre. Hassan also provided photos to CNN.

Breitbart also carried the story.
www.breitbart.com...

As Breitbart News reported Wednesday, the Associated Press said that it had no foreknowledge of the attack, even though its photographers appeared alongside Hamas terrorists from the first moments that they broke through the Gaza border fence.

So what’s with that ?

That photo of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar kissing that smiling “journalist” Hassan Eslaiah sure is damning.
I wonder how many more of those creatures were imbedded with the terrorists that day.
He probably thinks he still has journalist immunity.
It’s just been revoked.

I would say you entirely misread my answer.

I say level Russia, with Iran, all allies and whoever else wants some

We cannot “level Russia”. They have had too many armaments built up, though they did exhaust their resources during their assault on Afghanistan. But tptb are now allowing the US to exhaust our own armaments and also the ridiculous leftist radical admin left a billion dollars with of armaments and vehicles behind in Afghanistan methinks on purpose. Plus, Russia is allied with China, a full on communist led country, while tptb gave China all the advantages during the last few decades.
They want to turn the US into a communist country, because that is what is necessary for the world to have full communist control.

They want the us to fall so communism can completely take over the world. They would do it if it means full on war with Russia and China. Strategically for the US not a good thing though. I read yesterday I think that JB is trying to do just what you said and go against Russia directly.

Perhaps another question would be, why is dove one so high up connected with Hamas embedded as a western journalist, what did they know and when did they know it. This feels way deeper than even imagined.
