Asked in an interview with Radio Kol Berama whether an atomic bomb should be dropped on the enclave, Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu says “this is one of the possibilities.”

Without nuclear arms, Israel would long be gone. To be surrounded by such a mass of Israel hating countries there would be nothing to ensure its safety and existence.

Considering that other countries have nuclear weapons, why shouldn't Israel.

The precedent of using nukes to end a world war has already been set in the past. If Israel dropped nukes it would still be justified by their supporters. You don't interfere with God's plan.
