The home of a top fundraiser for New York City Mayor Eric Adams was raided by the FBI on Thursday morning with various electronic devices and paperwork confiscated in relation to a corruption investigation, according to The New York Times.

The federal agency searched the Brooklyn home of Brianna Suggs -- a 25-year-old campaign consultant for Adams – and seized three iPhones and two laptop computers, along with papers and other evidence.

Investigators also took something agents identified as a "manila folder labeled Eric Adams," as well as seven "contribution card binders" and other materials, the New York Times reported, citing a search warrant the publication had obtained.

All it takes is to say something that isn't flattering to Joey and he calls out the dogs. Eric Adams has been a little vocal about the incoming illegal population growth hitting NYC, and it doesn't appears to be taken too well. I wonder if this will send the right message to him, or if he will need a stronger message?

Maybe it's a legit investigation but I have my doubts. The FBI has become the Dems' very own secret police. Breaking down doors of opponents.

This should shut up other city mayors who are tired of the inflow.

that's what I was thinking this was. A pre-emptive strike to keep the other mayors in their lane.

Well isn't that interesting. Just 25 hours before the Feds' performed their search, the NYPD performed a wellness check at Suggs' residence. The NYPD claims they do this all the time before federal searches. Multiple former FBI agents and DOJ officials have gone on record stating they have never heard of this practice and that it would be especially odd in a public corruption case.

Did Adams have the NYPD tip off Suggs ahead of the FBI's search?

I have said this a dozen times now that every time the left creates something to use as a weapon against the right it ends up eating themselves up in the process. It's like they let the junkyard dog off the leash and it goes and bites a Republican and then it looks around for its next kill and sees a bunch of liberals and ripes into them. Are you suggesting that the Biden administration is expanding its campaign of political persecutions to include low ranking members of his own party?

It would make sense as Adam's continued harping on the illegal immigrant crisis that the Biden administration created is helping to put downwords pressure on Biden’s support; which is struggling right now.

Adam's wants to run for the presidency some day. So it makes sense for him to make waves in his own party in order to make a name for himself.

I will say Adam's did himself no favors. He was posting on X about his meeting in DC prior to his plane landing. But then he turns around and heads right back to NYC? What was he going to do about a federal investigation? Not saying that the Biden administration is not targeting Adam's, what I am saying is that there seems to be something there. We're they sitting on it to use it for maximum affect? I say yes!

A continuation of the "Warning Shot" to liberal mayors who criticize Joe Biden for flooding their city with illegal aliens....migrants...or whatever.

The New York Times reported Friday afternoon that the FBI confiscated several electronic devices belonging to Adams on Monday. The mayor was stopped on the street by agents with a search warrant. After they ordered his security detail to stand aside and stepped into the mayor’s SUV, the agents seized an iPad and at least two cell phones. The devices were later returned to Adams, according to the Times.

On Wednesday, the mayor revealed that he had lawyered up in apparent response to the federal probe, retaining the law firm WilmerHale as legal counsel.

An investigation of some kind related to "illegal campaign donations" was launched against Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson this week too. Like ADAMS, JOHNSON also criticized Joe Biden's open border policy.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams accused of sexual assault in 1993

The woman suing Adams, who is seeking at least $5 million in damages, alleges in a New York state court summons that the mayor assaulted her when they worked together for the City of New York, The Messenger first reported.

The complaint was filed Wednesday under New York's Adult Survivors Act, which created a one-year window for New Yorkers to sue people they say sexually assaulted them, regardless of the date of the allegation.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams "vigorously denies" allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman in 1993, a City Hall spokesperson said Thursday.

I like Eric Adams.

He's not perfect by any means, but he has guts and some brains. (With the exception of the sanctuary city lunacy).

That may be all he needs.
