This was the guy that founded FTX and the crypto currency FTT. He lost billions of dollars of users funds as they were funneled to the company Alameda and they used the money to donate to politicians, to different world leaders around the world, to buy luxury homes, to pay themselves and their famlies lavish salaries.

I have this lady, Tiffany Fong on my YouTube feed, as she was in court and reporting every day of the trial. Well she just put out a Youtube video this evening and said that Samuel Bankman-Fried was found GUILTY on all counts.

He's looking at decades in prison for his misappropriation of billions of dollars. Basically straight out fraud.

When she thinks she's logged-off she uses some explicit language.

I'm kind of surprised by this.

But I bet he only gets like 6 months of house arrest or probation.

"Fried" is past tense, so they will probably re-fry him.

But then he will just be "Fried" again...

15 years max, with a chance of parole in five. A lighter sentence wouldn't surprise me either, like a possible 5 year sentence, parole in three and 10 years probation.

I plan on being underwhelmed.

ATS may have incorrectly thought this was the same fraud case as Donald Trump but in this case many people were financially harmed whereas in Donald's cause of fraud it appears nobody was harmed.

So how long before he strangles himself to death in a maximum security prison cell and his bodybuilder cell mate has no idea what happened?

As much money as he funneled to the democrat party (through his mother), I expect Joe will pardon him at the first opportunity.

Speaking of his mother, both of Sam's parents are pretty dirty. They should also be prosecuted.
