The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

Wars are fought with soldiers, who are trained and dedicated and invested in their trade.

Terrorism is exactly how it sounds, and is brutal and involves the slaughter of citizens -- women, children, babies and is NOT to be confused with war.

Yes, there have been times in previous World Wars where cities were bombed, and citizens -- not soldiers -- were killed or wounded.

There is no excuse for a group to directly attack citizens. There is no excuse for a group to hold citizens hostage. This is practically the definition of a terrorist organization. The UN, imo, has lost the plot, and has no stones. The UN was formed to insure that another holocaust wouldn't happen. Is it being true to its roots? I don't think so. I think it is being consistent with its political bent, and that doesn't help heal a world.

On a personal level, if somebody decends upon my family with bloody intentions, I will not hesitate to respond in kind and even overwhelming kind, if I have that amount of influence.

Hamas is acting in a way to provoke a response, and then runs to Iran when that response happens. What is the end game? The return of Muhammad al-Mahdi? I don't have a problem with that; Christians await the return of the Christ. In the meantime, are we going to blow up the world when Iran's buddies get into it?

The UN should be creating a resolution which causes barbaric slaughter to be inconsistent with world peace. How about that???

I watched a video asking Palestinian’s why there is archeological finds in Israel that date back a few thousand years. Including coins that were from the Israeli kingdom, some interesting answers. Some flat out denied it while others acknowledged it.

I find very interesting that amnesty international does not divulge from where their funding comes from, still they claim is private donors.

I do not trust any entity that get millions of dollars and can not tell from where.

No, I am opposed to the radical element of HAMAS too,
but I want to make sure no Palestinians outside that group get caught in the crossfire.

I'd also add that most of Jihadist HAMAS seems to be operating from the underground tunnels,
so the surface shelling and rockets probably isn't doing much to them but
keeping them from advancing, while it hurts and kills random civilians.
