Happy Halloween! What plans does everyone have?!

As the title says, have fun everyone! And I hope you and your families stay safe! Any grand plans for tonight? Big events and parties?

I'll be going to a gathering with some pretty right-leaning friends. We've argued A LOT in the past. I'll be wearing my COVID costume!

I figure with them wearing costumes with masks on Halloween, it'll be the first time I can say I've seen them masked around COVID!

They'll find it as funny as I will. *fingers crossed*

Go home, light all the pumpkins, wait for dark, honor lost loved ones, do a little scrying, go to bed.

We don't get trick or treaters anymore, all the neighborhood kids have grown and gone.

May get a friend stopping for a drink, but that's it.

Kidds sis a costume parade at school . I got a fun dress with jack-o-lanterns on it. Gonna handout candy with my friend this evening. My neighborhood is rockin'

Erm, you missed the party. It was this past weekend. Friday thru Sunday. Lots of food drinks, both kind. Snacks movies, games, friends. Discussions from what movies you like to nuclear engineering with a real space scientist thrown in the mix.

I was told this 1967 Hepburn movie Wait Until Dark is really good so I think I'll pull this up after watching the World Series (bloody blowout, not a good game).

Even my sister remembered this movie and her memory is spotty, at best. It's supposedly creepy so I'll let you know after I see it.

Cheers for the tip. My wife and I love Audrey Hepburn, but we've never seen that movie.

The Ghost and Chicken was really good, and didn't give me nightmares. They don't make films like that anymore.

It wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. I expected more darkness and there was very little although she did good with the blindness aspect.
