From The Jester In The Cast

The players tried for a forward pass
With the jester on the sidelines in a cast
Now, the half-time air was sweet perfume
While the sergeants played a marching tune
We all got up to dance

'Cause the players tried to take the field
The marching band refused to yield
Do you recall what was revealed
The day the music died?

A song, a soul speaking. The marching band pushing the crowd in uniforms.
The crowd moving in unison.

It got really serious without the Jester. The Fool was giving it lightness.
Without it the crowd & the players lost sight of the goal.
Killing just to kill.

While Ishtar cried out loud: Let my people dance!
The drums of the marching band kept them transixed,
in lock step towards the Day the Music Died

Cacaphony leads to silence.

I got my first E Bike today. My friend and I will go out for a night ride tonight. I am excited.
