The Entity (the movie)

Has anybody seen the true story 1981 movie about the lady being raped by an entity? At the end of the movie it says she is still being harrassed, followed and raped by this entity. I was just wondering if anybody knows if she is still suffering from it? Her name is Carla Moran.

The couple of places I've looked this up in the past say the attacks eventually stopped.Here's a page that has some info on this and other cases. Some researchers suggest that Carla's attack may have been some form of psychokineses.

I know there are supposed to pictures related to the case somewhere ; if I can find them I'll post.

Thanks for the link to the story and for the photos. I couldnt find information anywhere on the net about her before I read that. It may be some sort of pyschokinesis, being totally neuropychological in nature. But how do you explain the events occuring affecting her family? Its an interesting case.
By the way, there is going to be a remake of the movie for next year, so it will put the case back in the spotlight again. Hopefully more questions will be answered then.

i watched years ago and to this day i sleep with the blankets up to my cheek cus i keep thinking i will be slapped by some unseen force. that one really scared the s--t outta me!!!

I remember this movie.

Wow it was awesome scarry. I remember it clearly because that night I had an episode of sleep paralysis!

Scared the ba-jesus out of me I'll tell ya......never forget it.

I was always curious if this was really based on real documented evidence.

Yes, The Entity was based on a real case. Here is page with some info. The movie took some liberties, such as the lab with the liquid nitrogen, but is "based on a true story."

Yea...It is a movie that truly freaked me out... That is saying a lot because I don't get spooked by much, but that movie did freeak me out.

I feel sorry for Ms. Moran but the movie is not entirely factual. from the linked site that eaglewingz provided.

I stress the highlighted part.
Most psychologists have attributed the attacks and markings to a similarly much discussed mental (spiritual) disorder otherwise known as Stigmata.
Yes, the "attacks" eventually subsided and even totally stopped.
There was a follow up show done back in the late 80's on her case.
