I know many of you don't like what I write. But I feel that most don't take it personally. Except the trolls we've had lately. So glad the Mods are back.

2 days ago the other Billie died on the operating table for an elective surgery, just as they were ready to make the first cut, and was revived. He was sent by ambulance to a major hospital and within a few hours had a pacemaker put in. He had a total block, no messages were getting to the lower chambers to beat.

Of course, I'm a total mess right now.

After he was revived and before the second surgery to put in a pacemaker, when he was hanging between worlds he had an NDE. He never left the room but Jesus came to him and looked deeply into his eyes. He said that he "heard" in his head these words. "You are going to be alright." Then Jesus left. I was out of the room but a nurse was with him when this happened. He was lucid at that point and talking to my daughter and the nurse when it happened. They didn't see Jesus. The other Billie is a deep person of faith deeply involved in a non-profit prison ministry. He is supporting, on the board of, and goes often to help out at a "village" where released sex offenders go when they are rejected by family, and have no money. They stay there until they are on their feet financially, get a job, and can find a place to live. While there they go through intense "rehab" and only pay around $200 a month once they get a job. He has spent all his life working with people in this sort of way. I'm not surprised that Jesus came to comfort him. A young pastor he mentors told him that God has more for him to do on this earth and Jesus was letting him know that.

Me, I'm the reprobate who loves and supports this wonderful Billie and the one you are most familiar with, so you know my personality. My life would be next to nothing without him after nearly 50 years of a not perfect marriage with it's ups and deep downs. I can say that it was so worth it to hang in during the times I wanted to walk away. The good years have greatly outweighed the bad. In our twilight years, he is not just the second Billie, he is truly my second half.

Addition in case you want to know: Billie said that Jesus looked like a modern day person, but he only saw his face. His hair was not long but not a modern short cut either. He said the eyes were so penetrating, that is the main thing that got to him. From what he said the skin color was not black, not white, but typical of a Middle Easterner, and his hair was black.

I believe your story and I also believe in God. I had a major stroke back in 2009 from sports concussions. Thats when I began feeling a persons energy. I have never seen God nor had him speak to me but I have seen other symbolic religious items that are beyond my comprehension.

One book that is soon to be published book by Dr. David Hufford PhD is relating to near death experiences of USA combat soldiers in both Irag and Afghanistan who spoke of the feeling of an unconditional, loving warmth bliss of energy and love. The divine love of God. I have felt that and its incedible. I was interviewed by Dr. Hufford in 2022. He said over 1000 soldiers said they felt the same feeling.

I am no longer afraid to die as a result. I hope that your situation also.

God bless.

We are both not afraid to die. I've been reading the website NDERF and watching the NDE youtubes. The other Billie is too busy helping people to spend time doing that.

He was very excited about the visit from Jesus and has been telling everyone.

My daughter who is a stoic senior executive was with him and she believes him. I was out of the room in order that my daughter could see her Dad, only one visitor at a time was allowed. My daughter said at first she and the nurse were perplexed and a little scared when he said "Do you see him?" But he was not seeing anything else that wasn't there and knew where/when he was and with whom. If anyone would have their imagination run away with them, it would surely be me not him, if you are familiar with my writings.

Thank you for your lovely reply and support.

Hi Billie. You and I seldom post together but you have sparked me to do so. It's nice to hear your happy story.

Three weeks ago my wife began to feel ill early in the evening. She is a strong woman not given to complaint, willing to work through periods of pain and illness. We were spending out evening with her communicating on her laptop and me with my art and ATS and the tube on with some fall-der-all when she anxiously asked me to get her a cooking pot. I jumped up and got one for her in which she began to wretch.

This went on for about fifteen minuets when she began to quiver in jerking spasms and complaining about pain in her leg. I looked at her leg and the cellulitis she has not suffered from in a couple of decades had turned her leg beet red from foot to knee. We decided to hobble to the car and drive the twenty minutes into town and the emergency room.

They admitted her and after two hours I drove home a total wreck. Her entire system had gone septic. Apparently she had picked up an infection from a small cut in her foot while cleaning out the cat litter box. That is our guess.

She spent three days in PCU and that big question stood before us. Calls came in from near and far and all were offering prayers.

With her in hospital I tried to carry on. My sister lives with us and had just a week before had knee surgery and I was on double duty between the two. Everyone told me to take care of myself in between . Ha.

Anyway, my gal is now better after two weeks in hospital. The sepsis is gone and the leg is now back to normal and her hobby of being the best cook in the county is back in swing.
We vegged for two days once she was home because even though I did my best to stay healthy through it all by the time she made it home I was at a very low energy swing. Turns out that while she had lost ten pounds in hospital an I had made sure to keep eat, I had lost twenty from the fretting.

I think that we have entered a new stage in our life together. We are both in our late seventies and have succeeded in our pledge to grow old together. Our pledge now is to BE old together.

I'm happy you are both well and so are we.

It took me years of research to get where I am and science cant explain it and / or wont explain it. I at also at peace as I now undertand why I had the jobs I had as a fixer of large manufacturing organizations. I also understand the energy.

My research has led me to several professionals of which consist of three PhD's and two Catholic priests. One is a Vatican trained Exorcist. My story is now documented at York University in London along with Dr. Hufford in the USA.

Words that all five used were Empath, Spirit Guide, Twin Flame, Divine love from God, Spiritual Warfare, Light Worker, Guardian of the Threshold and Angel. My backstory is huge.

Just pray and believe in God.

Thank you for your lovely post. It is when we reach the end of our lives and look back we can see that "til death do us part" has a sweet meaning at the end for "normal" marriages.

I have tried to tell people that if you divorce only because "you don't feel in love anymore", but still like the person and get along most of the time, don't give up. The love you feel in a long term marriage is so different, deeper, richer, and more fulfilling than the thrill of early relationship love.

My thoughts on religion and NDE's is no secret on ATS, but a strong will to live coupled with faith is another matter altogether. Those two things can save your life, and in this case, I think they did.

Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery.

Happily, the two of us have gotten to a point where we can finally chide each other with no fear of insulting. We can comment on attractions to others with now fear of jealousy, well that is unless Neil deGrasse Tyson gets within
60 miles of us then I'm afraid I will be lost in the whirlwind of her departure.
