Looks like the mods are back,

and the ATS of old is here again.

The censorship of reality appears to have recommenced…

Can’t say I have more respect for the old ATS censorship compared to trolls run amok…

I would rather see the world for what it is…

Yes... thankfully!

Within hours of this place being without moderators, it fell apart. Crude language. Crass user names. Inane conversations about body parts and body liquids. Perverted U2Us sent to female users. Links to porn. It was like a bunch of hick 14 year old boys took over the place. Total turn off. Childish, crass, disgusting.

Rights come with responsibility and maturity.

You wouldn't give a child a firearm, and that is a right.

Some do not have the maturity nor the ability to be responsible for what they say.

As evidenced here recently.

All things considered the staff have done the best they can do with an absolutely terrible hand that's been dealt.

Well, I'll take my beatings if merited.

They are and we can all help by reporting the inadequate stuff to mods, if you had a mental breakdown over your lost stars and flags like I did and posted alot of dumb crap you might wana start with reporting your own posts and threads that go against T&C.

Helps the mods, and shows you actually know the rules...
It's a courtesy you own the mods and the fine people that read and post here...

It's not even the language, IMO. You can get the foulest language by turning the TV on. I think it's more about the disruption and deliberate attempt to kill a discussion with OT nincompoopery. Like if you're in a public setting having a serious but civil conversation and some jerk decides to bullhorn you with "muh free speach". No one, IMO, should be able to disrupt someone else's speech by hiding behind their own "free speech". We've battled enough forum gangs here to be sensitive to the topic.
