The ATS Discord was set up a while back, when ATS had been getting DDOS'd, just a place for members to hang and chat. Several decided to keep going there.

It's a real time chat / discussion.

10 years ago, we may have been an attractive site for the gubmint to infiltrate and maybe undermine. Now? I just don't see it. We're like Butch Cassidy's old Hole in the Wall. They were safe because digging them out wasn't worth the effort.

WOOHOO I'M back!

So, what I did: Don't use Firefox, but use Microsoft Edge (boo),
simply search for Djarums and add as a friend.
You don't necessarily even have to be on the server.

I searched up and added Djarums and messaged him.

Just give your old username, and a working email.
They can send you an email. It'll have a temporary password to login into ATS and reset your password.
A little thank you can't hurt either.

I never logged out of my CareWeMust. Account on one computer.

I can do everything in that account but post.

I will try to post to ATS once per night and see if that function comes alive again, without me having to jump through Discord hoops.

It probably won't. At the moment, it has to be done manually by Djarums. I can't see him resetting thousands of accounts just for kicks. In any case, he has to manually associate the email you provide to the user profile.

If you want your old account working 100% DM him here or on Discord.

It's not going to work. Emails and passwords are disassociated from the old accounts. Whatever djarums and Co are doing is re-adding an email to the account. It's not going to fix itself.

Hopefully.

It's typical of such a dds sever hack etc that a site is rolled back and any threads made in between sand boxed the hack sorted or filtered out then rolled back in.

discord is an anonymous server

The Phantom Zone does not show up on a search. There is no way to PM members unless their friends, and they are not accepting friends requests. I have a server if anyone interested in sending a friends request to me. User name ASE Maybe someone might reach out, because it looks like, I cant reach in.....

Ok so there's way to get back in under your old account name. Does that include member content restoration as well?

If not, what's the point of going through that process then? Is it to double verify who's on this site? What exactly happened and more importantly, can it happen again?
