Greetings to the members and guests at tonight's meeting.

My Name is Michigan Swampbuck and I am an ATSoholic.

I've fallen off the wagon many times and find myself once again back at it.

I have no excuses, I'm weak and I gave in. I can only apologize, ask for forgiveness, and hope to finally get clean.

Thanks for having me here for the meeting and letting me tell my story.

Always found it odd that at Alcoholics Anonymous meetings folk announce their names?

Yeah, might as well give an address too. How much are you expected to "share" with the group anyhow? I could go on a bit . . .

It probably all started back when I was a kid reading UFO magazines and the "Mysteries of the Unexplained" book by Reader's Digest. Then Cold War era paranoia combined with the study of biblical prophecies leading me down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories. I finally reached rock bottom after I came here, and now this place is like a street gutter in Conspiracy City with me back for more.

I feel vile and filthy like I passed out drunk and pissed my pants.

The anonymity is based on a mutual agreement against repeating what is heard, what is said, and who was there.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas..... its an honor system and yes, it's always a risk. You can call yourself by any name you want.

And no, I'm not a member of AA, but Alanon, the program for families and friends of alcholic/addicts saved mine, and probably someone elses (the alcholics) lives. Otherwise, I might have killed him!

Michigan is a beautiful state. Just stay away from Pontiac downtown and the others. I traveled throughout the entire state and Canada as I worked for GM Worldwide Purchasing for several years.

So into swamps, deer hunting. Lots of blueberries up north. I cant help you with the juice as thats my issue post my 2009 stroke as a result of several sports concussions.

I havent hunted deer since the 1990's when slugs were whizzing over my and my brothers heads. I am now in South Carolina with many places to hunt but I dont trust the humans who sound shot.
