I am getting to the point where I think we should.

I've heard a 'truism' as god helps those that help themselves.
Perhaps you have not prayed hard enough if fixing ATS, is what you need in your life.

And no, ATS isn't something I really need.

Old Meister Eckhart had 'truisms' of his own. Like, 'all prayers are born of desire and as such are movements away from God'.

I do not want to create drama.
I was a church musician for over 2 decades.

I do not necessarily agree with the faith, but I enjoyed helping others connecting with their truth.

You are giving a disdain, that I do not find respectful to many others.

Which is fine.

You just do not hold all the opines in the world, and when we respect the others with different opines, we seem to get along better.

I give disdain because I see the dangers of magical thinking and what it has done to us.

We are all guilty of magical thinking in one way or another. Thinking itself is kind of magical.

I don't care about God other than as a literary device. I also don't project the good or evil that men do onto some outside agency.

I can't speak to life after death. I am alive. I think there is a fear in people that death is indeed the end.

I am not afraid of that but people want more, there has to be more for some.

This life should be cherished.
