Short and concise. Agreed. Well, he left off everything Canaanite or earlier, but of current, still existing groups that had the territory, Jews are the oldest of them. The early history is a bit, let's say exaggerated, but still no pig pones, so they were there.

It's just a arid patch of land no different than any other arid patch of land.

It used to be notable for having God's house. But that's not the case anymore. So there's not really anything significant about it.

If God is really God then they made everything, therefore everything is theirs. What exactly is your point in claiming a speck of land on a tiny planet orbiting a common unremarkable star belongs to God more then anywhere else belongs to God?

That is exactly my point. In the whole universe, why that spot? There are better, more productive spots all over the planet but that spot belongs to God more than the rest of the universe belongs to God.

Where are they gonna put it? Between Al Aqsa and The Dome of Rock? I think any move to establish anything there would really piss off the Muslims. It has to be built on The Temple Mount, right? Maybe they just want to live there and don't want to knock over any preexisting holy sites on Har Moriah.

I have read the legend says building palace for the devil in that place challenges god authority on earth. There is a sect in Israel, the radicals whom are associated with child sacrifice Satanic rituals that got them kicked from Europe so many times have sworn to obey devil's orders. There are many Israelis, I would say the majority don't believe in this, but those who do are the most powerful ones. I assume most Israeli civilians don't know about it.

The issue here is that some Christian sects are pro-palace because they think that Jesus is going to come back and murder the Jews for killing him when he was on earth before. This sect dominates US policy.

In Israel we have two main sects, the Zionist sect which is pro-palace for whatever satanic reason they believe, and we have average Jewish citizen whom is not happy with the return of Jesus because that means a war against Jewish people. On the other hand, Jewish people think that someone else is going to come back to life, and not Jesus. That person will increase Jewish power all over the world. Sounds like myth out of the book, but that is how religious people think.

Personally, I think all of them are crazy and leading world to more disasters.

Let's be brutally honest here, all these old groups are basically squatters. This is true for all the ancient races around the planet.

For the most part everyone around them just let them do it and everyone ignored it because there wasn't really a concept of land rights. Some groups just got bigger and started wars to grab more land in the area.

Groups moved in, and then moved out again for various reasons. Some were even forced out, then forced their way back again.

They weren't given anything. The new Israel is one of the only examples of people being given land in the area (But that was by the British, not God). Palestine is another (Also by the British).
