Bob was ready to move out from the apartment that he and Jane shared.

Bob said, "The rent is paid to the end of the month, and the groceries should last a couple of weeks."

Jane's response was "Just tell me you love me."

"I don't want to."

"But you do. Just say it."

"So what if I do? If I say it, you will misunderstand."

"Say it!" Jane demanded.

"This is what I will say." Bob finally responded, "I love you. I love me too. But us? Us? No. I do not love us."

Jane smiled and danced a bit. "You do love me, so we can..."

"No." Bob interrupted her, "No we. I love you, not us. Goodbye."

AI stories
It looked too good to get lost amongst AI.

Great little insightful snapshot there.

Me too.

I bet Bob wasn't always like that either.

Love lurks in the shadows and around every corner
Love is glowing eyes in the ark
Love stalks you wherever you go
Love watches you while you sleep
Love is bigger and stronger than you
Love will squeeze you until your bones crack
Love is giant breasts that suffocate you every time you wake up

Love is a monster girl

Love is MalO

It is at times like this that Bob is relieved
that he never bought an I(anything).

I'm sure that the SCP Foundation has some games out there too. I've seen YouTubes of people playing them.

Is there significance to 9.8MB?

I don't know of a significance to the file size. Other than it being just below 10mb and that might be a search option on the app store.

There are lots of SCP video games! In fact SCP-245 is contained inside a video game. If you go to the SCP-245 page
scp-wiki.wikidot.com...
you can click a link to download the .zip file.

There is game on Steam for SCP-970 the recursive room that I've been waiting to release.

Here is a variation of a poem I wrote once as preface to a horror story.

Into your darkness
you whispered my name.

Into my darkness
the specter came.

It gibbered and danced
calling out "Hark!"

Oh get real
I'm not afraid of the dark.

Good stuff! I would have liked a continuation of this dialogue with a little twist at the end, but that's me. Good read.

Thank you.
I left the twist out because that would have made it a different story.

I've read it when you first posted it and honestly didn't like it.
With your latest installment Roland & Geneva something I think clicked and now I am thinking:
you have a very twisted definition of what love is.
I mean you use it very generously apparently and more self-centred than I would.

It's funny and interesting, a little weird also.

I mean I am maybe the problem, because I was married to a guy and not once said 'I love you'.
On the other hand I had one boyfriend with whom I was very much in love, but that was like with butterflies to almost passing out when I saw him somewhere unexpectedly.
That is love for me. There is no place for rational thoughts or a seperate me from we when I love.
So I doubt you ever have loved.

Don't get me wrong this is not intended to be judgmental, I realise it sounds like it is, I am just processing and comparing, because somehow I find it incredible interesting how you approach 'that love thing'.

add:
I mean I don't even think about love, or make any theories what this or what it could mean, I realised that because I said 'definition' that sounds as if I do.

Honestly I am weird up to handicapped in emotional things. It is not like I don't feel, but in that break up with the guy I mentioned above I somehow burned out all rational approach to the topic relationships.
It was very dramatic a little hillbilly Romeo & Juliet of sorts and we weren't able to let go of eachother for years...
I guess it was mostly self preservation that from there onward I tried to be detached from all emotions and boy did that not work out...

Just as background to what I said, why this is so hard for me to understand and so very interesting.

I think I did once.
Compare:

That is love for me.

With:
This
So say you are her all butterflied over some other guy, and I'm the friend zone slob. Triangle thing. Neither of us getting what we really wanted. So tragic!!!

You do know that Romeo and Juliett is tragedy.

Maybe love is tragedy.
Or tragic at least.

I do I used it because it was not that one of us or we decided we don't work, but it turned into a family is against it thing.

Yes very tragic.

unrequited love is at least a little romantic. Like Goethe 'Die Leiden des jungen Werther' that is sthg that can make you feel really good about yourself at least between 'crashes', but as long as you are the tragic hero, you're still the hero.

To explain that U2 song.

I accidently ascended to Mount Olympus just so I could write a poem for her.
Hanging out with the gods.
Didn't know any better, ate their food.
Drank their mead.

Next thing I knew
I was on a path.
I thought it was Orphic path,
but no, it was Dionysian.

Finally, Dionysus turned me to some other way.

So now I'm just me, myself, and I.

Ordinary love:

Sky is always touching Earth
Thats what we live
and how we live.

True genius required to put in words;
Dramatic love so easy in comparison.
