Hello. . . again

I don't post often. Perhaps you recognize my avatar.

I work in the performing arts. Building scenery for plays. For the last decade I've been employed by the UC (University of California) system.
Doing lighting and scenic design for live performance as well.
Before that I freelanced in backstage live performance, and as a professional musician (jazz trained drummer).

Found this site looking for Bigfoot. Stayed for the conversations.

Welcome, is soo funny I came to ATS looking for UFO information and SETI, is been soo long ago when SETI was a big thing and fun to have in your computer, back then was the desktop.

My brother is huge into Bigfoot! He's so obsessed. He just got a tattoo of it on his arm. It looks pretty cool.

Oh wow, yeah, I used to just stare at the screen when I would pull up the SETI program. I used to fantasize that my computer just might be the ONE that was integral in finding a signal! lol

Funny, people don't really say "in my computer" anymore.
Everything's "on" and what's on is usually online.
I'm typing this from a Chromebook with only a couple GB of free disk space,
and most of my storage is in the cloud, off in some wispy, nebulous land.
I do have a TB external drive.
Can you imagine having a TB hard drive in 03?
I say, I'd be a god!

Pretty jealous, NGL.
I was 13 in 03, and was just dicovering pr0n,
so much of my time was spent waiting for 720p jpegs to load so I could see boobies.
I do vaguely remember this site from that era but was not a commenter,
and reading the John Titor time travel saga as it unfolded.

I was obsessed with time travel.
Art Bell was still on Coast to Coast though, that's reason enough to go back in time.

Lol on waiting for the pics to load! I look back at what we used to have and what we have now, it's ridiculous. And I miss the god-awful noises the computer would make while connecting to the internet. I used to play an mmo a lot, and my husband would get so pissed that the phone line was tied up all the time!
I also love time travel stuff, absolutely fascinating. The John Titor writings actually scared me when he talked about civil war and all that.

Me too, oh my gosh those were the days, look where we are not, I am also a bigfoot fan, I love watching the documentaries and now I am into the big foot expedition series, we have a forum for that and one for the Oak Island.

Yes those big desktops, with the tables, big monitors, and tower, wow, soo simple graphics, now is incredible with the HD graphics and all in the palm of your hand.

And remember when you could heal the dialing in the modem when connecting to the net.

Yes, yes John Titor was a big deal here in ATS, everybody was soo obsessed with him, you know you still can find the files if you want to read them again.
