I was away for a couple of days, come back to this fuster cluck. Hoo, boy!

I can still access my old account on several devices that have a persistent login, but can't do anything with it. Replies won't upload, and I can't create a new thread anywhere.

I figured out how you can get your old avatar, just go to the search (magnifying glass) and search your old username. Pick a post you were in previous to today and you'll see your old avatar. On a PC right click on the picture and save it to your device. Then upload it back to your new names pictures.

I uploaded my avatar into my 'album' here, but have no idea how to get it as my avatar!

That is ok, the avatar I had before was in need of an update, I got it, I am happy with what I got now, thanks for the information, I did search for old name and found it,

Thank you soo much, I know you now, I wish everybody will do the same, or just post in the signature their old names, Is soo many people signing in, it worries me, we may need to thin out things again, ATS may still be under some kind of weird and no soo funny attack.

Is a lot of groups that do not like what we post and the topic we debate.

I did do exactly that, just didn't work, but I see that avatars have been disappearing, perhaps the system is being worked on, give it time.
