Gov Gavin Newsom is headed to Israel today for a meeting tomorrow - which is also a 'day of rage' that has been called for by Muslims. American politicians really need to stay the heck out of Israel. It's a freak'n active war zone. What could he possibly be doing there in person that he can't do over the telephone? Is he just trying to look 'presidential' in case he has to step in and run for POTUS or something? Geeeze ... STAY AWAY.


Politico - Gov Gavin Newsom Traveling to Israel

California Gov. Gavin Newsom is traveling to Israel on Thursday to meet with victims of the Israel-Hamas war on Friday, his administration said. Newsom will stop in Israel ahead of a planned trip to China next week that is set to start in Hong Kong.

The Governor adjusted his planned international trip and will briefly visit Israel ahead of going to China,” spokesperson Erin Mellon said in a statement. “While in Israel, the Governor will meet with those impacted by the violence.”

Newsom’s office said that California will also be sending medical aid and supplies to the region, including Gaza.

California is home to the largest population of Arab Americans and the second largest population of Jews in the U.S.

He's probably going to China to grovel. For once, NPR told the truth. Hollywood relies on China to stay afloat.

A stop-off in Israel will up his "statesman" cred. (Or so he thinks)

It's possible he's already been chosen to be our next POTUS. There seem to be a few liberals going out of their way to make the news with displays of their 'leadership' skills, so maybe this is how the final replacement candidate is chosen.

Apparently they think so little of “we the people” they think we have forgotten the recall effort due to his unscrupulously taking advantage of his political position during Covid, to close down all of his restaurants/winery’s competitors , while leaving his opened.

I mean this guy is so bad and so beholden to old money as well as dirty politicians like himself, it’s laughable that they think they can just switch the script midstream and make him likable enough to win the presidency.

In no time at all, business would close, there would be homeless, needles, and feces in the streets, and the Palestinians would be leaving in droves.

But then, there would be no way Israel could deny having committed a war crime.

I say that because he's dishing out the same by trying to disarm his state while we are in the midst of the largest invasion in our history. Massive crime, massive drug use, massive homelessness, mass exodus of the tax base, child grooming legislation...
