You should just say what you mean, you want the R's to capitulate to your side because it's good for you politically and bad for your opponents.

No, I want the centrist Ds and centrist Rs to form a bipartisan bloc that can actually advance bills through the House and then get them through the Senate and the White House. There are really only a relatively small number of extreme Rs and extreme Ds in the House right now. They shouldn't be the tail that's allowed to wag the dog, IMHO.
