Unlike a lot of idiots here on ATS, most Americans want the government to work in a bipartisan way.

The irony.........

Anyway, bipartisan is out the window if both "sides" can't even agree what their side is.....

You should just say what you mean, you want the R's to capitulate to your side because it's good for you politically and bad for your opponents.

No, I want the centrist Ds and centrist Rs to form a bipartisan bloc that can actually advance bills through the House and then get them through the Senate and the White House. There are really only a relatively small number of extreme Rs and extreme Ds in the House right now. They shouldn't be the tail that's allowed to wag the dog, IMHO.

I'm perfectly capable of saying what I mean, thank you very much.

There is no hurry, since they only are in session 119 days a year. What's a few more days here and there of not doing anything.

Yes, the status quo is what you desire.

That ship has sailed.

Well, might help if they had someone that wasn't an insurrectionist as Jordan is. He's a traitor.

Ride it out till the next shutdown is near. They are all worthless anyways and all this is doing, again, is rooting out the RINOs.

ANYONE elected as a Republican who is not voting for a Speaker, or talking to the left, is a straight up traitor to their party.

Bi-Partisan my ass. Where was that when Pelosi ripped up the SOTU address. Still, to this day, one of the worst acts I have seen a politician do.

As mentioned, the left would elect a Fetterman because they could care less as long as the money is rolling.

I'm not in the House.

Not a Representative.

So *shrug*

I'm enjoying the House being shut down personally.

I wish the Senate would follow suit.

Exactly one month left for the CR. I’d be surprised if they don’t vote a speaker in by then. But then again the war drums are beating, things could get interesting very fast. Strange times.

oh yeah. some grown men in their athletic prime peak condition couldnt defend themselves from an old doctor if they didnt welcome his advances.

The actual authority Jordan spoke to, when he heard gossip, told him to leave the gays alone.

Then years later it is mentioned when Jordan becomes a rising political star.

meh.....

The house is waiting for Pelosi to come and run again, for speaker, is nothing but butt kissing rinos in there, but one thing is for sure.

Democrats are not getting a penny and they need money, lots and lots of money, for Ukraine to launder.

The disturbing part?

Their votes hinge on sending money to other countries.....

Yes, and Jim Jordan is for more Ukraine funding and yet, fiscally prudent Matt Gaetz, who's position on the matter was in direct opposition to more funding, endorsed Jim Jordan to pickup where Kevin left off. After all that drama...(w.t.f.)

The same Jim Jordan that was practically in tears over poor Kevin's pink slip!!

Lololol....this is all bullsnip to the highest order. To be vested in this is pure folly.

JIM JORDAN: I'm obviously for helping Ukraine, we’ve done that. I’m not for this spending an additional $14 billion or whatever he’s [Biden] proposing now. I opposed the last $40 or $50 billion that the Biden Administration wanted, but yes, we should always be talking to see if there’s a way we can work this out. But remember, I think we can never forget Russia is the aggression here and has been, and we’ve been supporting Ukraine as we should.

September of 2022....

I mean if you're going to have an opinion, don't you want the facts first?
