Although playing devil's advocate on this topic is risky, I should point out that not everyone with an unnatural attraction (as this can never be classes as normal) to children act on their impulses. There are some out there, you never hear of who understand their compulsions are wrong and don't give in to them. They mask by dating people who look younger than they are, shorter than they are etc.

I talk from experience of a friend I once new, he was happily married, his wife was under 5' tall, he was 6'. He was very open with her about the way his brain worked and they, as far as I know, 30 years on are still married and he only has eyes for her. That being said, he never got invited to any of my kids parties but he knows his urges are wrong and, when I last spoke to him 20 years ago he only had eyes for his Mrs.

Don't get me wrong, anyone who touches another inappropriately, especially when the other is a minor deserves to be chemically castrated as well as physically castrated, slowly, with a very rusty fork and without anaesthesia!

You need not answer because yes, that is what you said. You did however add the ''especially'' for minors, but overall you did say ''anyone''

There is no evidence that the flag created in June 2018 to represent MAPs is part of a wider campaign to normalize pedophilia or include it under the LGBT umbrella, as several associations told AFP.

This article describes a general evolution of how this flag has come to be known by conservatives as a Pedo flag. From that summery, there is litle evidence that it is anything more than a flag flown by some people and not a signaling device between pedos.

Nor does the video you provided do that either, it is a video that elicits a knew jerk reaction, and that was the knee jerk reaction offered by a previous poster that I replied to.

Pedophilia is a cancer on society. Yes, it certainly is. And, I would also say that torture, such as that poster suggested is also a cancer on society. Should we give those who espouse torture more respect than those who espouse pedophilia?

Obviously the use of "Anyone" was a bit much of a generalisation there, I apologise I don't usually do that.

I mean anyone who either commits these hideous crimes on a minor or those who refuse to take no for an answer.

I realise inappropriate touching can be accidental and there are many, many gray areas around this subject.

I did not for even a moment believe that you meant '''anyone'' nor when it comes down to it the torturous bit. I find pedophilia to be an irrational act just as I find torture to be an irrational act. as one of the few transgender people here, I cans say that i'm pretty disgusted things are coming to this. Same sex couples wanted to just have the same marriage rights as the straights. and consenting adults like me wanted to just live as an approximation of the opposite gender in peace.

now we have people pushing kids toward irreversible surgeries/treatment and just blatant degeneracy

Okay I found the video, it was about Sydney Watson being banned from Patreon yet they were overlooking and protecting pedo content on their platform. The guy 'came out as an anti-contact non-offending minor attracted person, or MAP in order to be a positive visible role-model to young MAPs'.
