Not correct, the God of the Christian and pre-Expulsion jews the SAME God they they by design did NOT accept Jesus as the messiah until he fulfils
the rest of the Prophecy they are awaiting on his second coming (which by the way is NOT a reincarnation but literally returning from heaven).
He does not torment the greatest torment is to be separated from God and the greatest joy is to be returned to his presence.
The Lake of fire the Second death is very real and is NOT reincarnation.
There ARE possible nods to reincarnation throughout the bible such as who was John the Baptist whom Christ called the greatest man that ever lived,
he was acknowledged even by the rabbi's as a prophet and it he whom made straight the path for the lord, he whom prepared the way for Christ and for
that very reason he was sent to this earth just for that purpose.
And it is CHRIST alone that prepares the way for us to Salvation, indeed he IS THE WAY, the LIFE and the RESURRECTION.
He also said that in the resurrection there is no difference between a man and a woman and they shall neither be given nor taken in marriage for the
things of this world are passed away AND that it is given for a man to be born ONCE then to die then the Resurrection and he said that in the
Resurrection he will give us a NEW BODY a celestial (Heavenly spiritual) body like the Angels have not corruptible like the flesh of this earth.
Some are Resurrected unto eternal life and others unto eternal death, living death separated from God some in a place known as the outer darkness and
others like the Devil and the entire kingdom of the beast in the lake of fire which is known as the SECOND DEATH were they will be tormented day and
night for eternity and there worm shall know no rest.
This is not transmigration, not reincarnation etc.
Now some sects of Jews were open to the idea of Resurrection but traditionally it is NOT a Jewish belief, in fact the ancient Jews so strongly
believed in the resurrection that they even tried to bury the blood or bloody soil with there fallen believing that one day the lord would raise them
back up.
The Valley of Dry Bones is not just an allegorical tale but a real prophecy, bones that are actually nothing but dust some perhaps even cremated
called by the prophet by the word of God to come back together for flesh to come back upon them and for the wind to blow the breath and spirit of life
back into them before he was shown and exceedingly great host of people that being every singly descendant of Jacob all gathered together for
resurrection.
Some cases of resurrection MAY be real, one vision of the ladder to heaven mentioned the ANGELS of God - not the souls of men - coming into the earth
and going back up from it to heaven going about God's work in the world, were these angels being born, are all men just that men or are some actually
angels unknown even to themselves?.
Some cling to reincarnation thinking that it is there hope and they can try out another thing next time around, they are mistaken.
Look at the Hindu's it took the British to stop them burning widows but because they believe in reincarnation they have created caste systems to keep
those they regard as less human down, regard woman as inferior and worse.
The Buddhists are likewise trapped in an almost narcissistic belief and strive to reach a state of nirvana that as best I can tell is non existence
which they equate with peace.
ONLY Christ is the way the Life and the Resurrection.
Not esoteric texts written long after the expulsion from the holy land by men many of whom had a not entirely unjustified axe to grind with supposed
Christians that acted like anything but and constantly persecuted them, Christians that were whipped up by men that did not understand the new
testament at all and hated the Jews because of the Crucifixion, a Crucifixion without which they themselves would not have had the chance to be saved
or that the Jews are still Christs flock even if he has others as well and so they should not have been persecuting there brothers but looking forward
to the day that Christ brings them back into the fold.
