What do you think about this subject ?

Check this video ia200030.eu.archive.org...
Experime1940.mpg

Not sure if its real or not....but freaked me out.

But what about the damage to the brain ?
Is not known that after about 5 mins without oxigen the brain cells start to get damaged ?

Another thing, that was possible in one forced death where the heart had absolutely no damage, what not happens when you die by normal means.
Would still be possible to revive an organism with a damaged heart ?

And what about its soul ?
Animals have souls ?....what happen, it simlpy returns to the body ?

God thats insane, if its true.
I wonder what can they do nowdays.

Btw, thats a russian medical vid from the 40's where they bring to life a dead dog.

**********SOME PPL MAY FIND THIS VID WITH HEAVY CONTENT***********

Very strange. I am pretty sure we have some doctors subscribed to this board, and I would be interested to get their take on this.

I saw some thing along these lines on the Discovery channel, not so long back. A lot of research has gone into the subject, more and more is learned as time goes by. Frankenstein isn't all fantasy any more, science is traversing another progression. With modern life expectancies projected to almost 180 years, and advanced medical faculity, any thing is closer to possible now than ever.

Imagine regenerating some one from history, with some of their tissue and blank stem or embryonic cells. Sure some stuff is missing, but not for long, if there is one cell available the entire helix can be decoded. The fresher the better though, less blank cells to have to use.

They call themselves NIH

Biotech

DSC

Is death the end?

Hmm, that is pretty interesting.. some cell can be regenerated but not sure if they can be reproduced exactly like the dead one...that means some info could be missed during the process.
What means after the reanimation the person/animal would not have the same faculties as before.

heart and lung machines are already in use by hospitals today for heart sugery. It was on the discovery health channel about heart sugery.

OMG DO YOU PEOPLE REALIZE WHO IS INTRODUCING IT!!!!! Wow, I'm impressed.

Sorry, nerdalert.

Anway, they're articificially circulating vital fluids and what not, which is impressive, but not conspiratorial. Interesting find tho.

As far as the pumping heart. The heart has a network of nerves that are very rhythmically inclined and that 'fire' in a cascade, so that when one starts firing and causing a contraction, the adjacent ones do, and so on, in a loop, so that the heart is allways pumping. That, i think, is why they'll use those paddles to jumpstart a heart. Thats probably whats happening here too. I haven't watched the whole video tho.

what the heck site is that anyway, there's all sorts of weirdness on it?

I dunno about the site....
I found the link in another board.

So you ppl think that vid is real ?
[Edit], i cant believe dead animals can be brought to life.....that is simply insane.
God they successfuly did that in the 30's what about now ?

Im pretty sure that they realized that in humans too.

BUT, what about the soul/spirit ?....it returns to the body ?

I think you need to keep in mind, they 'brought them back to life' by merely circulating the vital fluids and starting the heart. Its advanced tech at the time, but not now. Infact, it happens constantly in hospitals. The vids real.

JBS Haldane is real, he's the introducer. Like someone above said, its like a heart and lung machine.

edit to add: whats up with the linking, its just not working properly

another attempt

I don't just think it's crazy they could come up with that in 1940... but to bring a dead animal back to life after 15 minutes of death... that's crazy.

That is brain damage, poor animal.
You can bet they were do the same to people or trying. Why else would they be doing it at all in the first place. Look at the time period it all originates in, the puzzle is almost enough.

Pet Semetary anyone? They should leave well enough alone. You start messing around and trying to bring things back from the dead they don't come back right.
