cant get into chatroom

ok so i tried the other day to get into a chatroom, couldnt do it.


just tried again. still cant get into one. can anyone be of some help here? i'm a little confused.

The chat room is a popup, are you running a popup killer, or have Opera set to refuse popup windows?

Or is the error somewhere else, give us more info

oopsy! (time to customize popup killer)

when i clicked on ATS chat a window would pop up and when i'd pick a room and click chat nothing would happen. guess i need to reconfigure my popup killer...

still not working!!!

i changed it so i accept popups from ATS. still not working.......grrrrr

Huh, that's odd. I use Mozilla which kills pop-ups and never had a problem.

using a firewall?
any special ports being blocked?

Try it with the popup killer totally off.

What is your browser, Opera works fine on it as long as its not version 7. I still use Version 6 somthing because of the errors V7 has.

ok i got it to work on net scape but not IE.

why does this not surprise me???


i dont know if its the popup killer doing this or not and i dont really care IE has been giving me headaches as of late and i'm about read to pack up my computer and ram up bill gates multibillion dollar butt. i want to savagely beat him with a toaster oven.

so now that i can get into the chatroom......why does it scroll from top to bottom instead of the classic widely accepted bottom to top scrolling?

its weird reading everything from the top on down.

or is this yet another problem i have with my browsers???

Same here, everytime I post a message on the chat room, I got kick out or disconnected from it.

Really? The messages are supposed to be the most current being on the bottom like every other chatroom? I've only tried it using Mozillla (which Netscape is based on). It has always been backwards for me.

Ahhh you have encountered Williams latest tool, the Bozo Filter, that automatically reads every post and kicks of posters who don't meet the mark.

Thank goodness mods are exempt from it!

This happens to me too. First i click on the ATS CHAT, on the browser, then this window appears with choosing a room like loddy or the pub, ect. Every time i pick 1 it would lead me straight back to that window
