If you mean too small as in thickness. Don't worry, they are made of hardened ceramics. Which is better than kevlar, though it weighs a little bit more. But they are currently working on making them lighter.

hey Jezza the aussie helmet is just like the new american advance combat helmet for the u.s. army.

I dunno, kinda smells like Stavatti, I know this is way different and more than likely a legit organization, but I don't think the US is gonna be interested in them, they are WAY too conservative and want their soldiers to look as traditional as possible LOL...

On the scifi front I like the idea in 2300AD rpg. It was flexible and comfortable full body suit, but when it was hit with alot off kinetic energy it hardens. It looked pretty cool too

Meh... i think the us army like cool looking suits for soliders because the enemy will think "hey what is this, why are they dress so funny" then bang! they(the enemy) got shot.
