No surprise, Sussex has always been that way.

Yep! A woke University that teaches a range of nonsense to its students.

Alongside the Department of Physics there is some weird Gender Studies Department.

I wonder if I can get into the law conversion course.
But wait...they might be more interested in graduates with a Masters in Gender Studies...

I think I have already answered you on this?

Do you have any kind of degree?

Are you in England or Wales?

I am in the US.
No formal qualifications. But do you need any to study at University Level in our days?

The degree in Magic doesn't require any.
The Degree in Gender Studies doesn't require one either (but that's for the woke students).

Degree in Law seems ok.
All you need is an opinion and the ability to convince others and lead the discussion or pre-occupy as many as you can.

But on the other hand physics seems great and I should be studying for it.

Well, to get into University here you need good A levels?

No. Bit more to it than that.

Like, passing actual subject exams?

I'd stick to being a Security Guard, if I were you.

You can be fat and wheezy and get to wear a uniform, even if you can't cut it in the Police or proper law enforcement?

I sort of got pushed into it following my strokes.
I found it next to impossible to remember and apply case laws....I can still work with numbers though so thought it would be a good move insurance wise to go down the actuary route which requires a maths degree as a starting point.

You also need to pass hard exams in subjects like, law of Torts, Company Law, International Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law and stuff like that.

Like, actual exams.

So what kind of subjects are you studying?
Maybe number theory? Group theory? Topology?
Maths is a great area for study.

Not like gender studies and magic...I will still prefer magic over gender ideology. To be honest gender ideology is indistinguishable from magic. You need to suspend all laws of nature to follow it.

Why?

I already have my BA (Hons) Law 2:1 degree?

Passed Law Soc Final Exams, did my Articles and have my Practicing Certificate? Since late 1980s?

You?

No formal qualifications?

What's your point?

I was saying, if you can't do the math then you can do the magic course.

calculus, algebra, a whole bunch of stuff I cant even describe, the hardest bit so far is learning how to write mathematical proofs, the specific language of maths is really deep and tough to get to grips with

You mean real and complex analysis where you use mathematical proof. But there is plenty of proof and theorem in areas such as geometry, linear and non linear algebra, algebraic geometry, etc.
