Let's be fair, it's political sparring and a scummy move. First off, it's tradition that the Speaker Emerita be given an office in the Capitol. Second, McHenry knew that Pelosi was out of the state attending Feinstein's funeral.

He was visibly pissed last night that McCarthy was removed and as a result he's acting like a three year old throwing a tantrum.

Nailed it.

McHenry off to a JV/juvenile start. Classy.

The MAGA implosion continues. When do we get rid of Gaetz?

Oooh, you mean it wasn’t true when you all giggled and chortled and guffawed that nothing would come of anything Gaetz was doing ?
You lost, lost your slave-like RINO speaker, and saw Queen Nancy slide down the bannister toward full irrelevance.
Act like you’ve ever been in a game before, where you win some and lose some. Don’t just fume that you didn’t get your way every time.

I have no idea what you’re talking about, or who you’re lumping me in with, but I hope you feel better (and you obviously need to feel better).

You're just jealous that she was able to keep her party made up of a multitude of factions working as a cohesive unit while the GOP seems to lack any leadership and as a result it's various factions are burning it to ground.

While I see division in the GOP, the division is not about principles, but about how to achieve those principles.

From the left, the division I see is on principles, let alone how to achieve them. This division is way deeper and fractures the party.

You do remember Trump doubled down on his support for McCarthy being speaker right?
Just kinda feels like you may have forgotten that part.

Lol, MAGA implosion ??

Anybody who actually saw what happened, saw Gaetz and MAGA curb-stomp the RINOs, dems, and inner circle. Took out a huge chunk of their sneaky little double-dealing machine.

You’ve got to stop just making stuff up, to make yourself feel better.

Well, serves her and other Democrats right, none voted to keep McCarthy in who was more in line with respecting some of the Democrat congressmen. I kind of liked that McCarthy was not strongly polarized, I really hope this backfires on the Democrats. I now hope that the Republicans vote in a radical far right person as speaker of the house to teach the Democrats a lesson.

They are supposed to be working together for the good of the people, not for the good of their political party. The house Democrats seem to be much worse as crossing political lines for the good of all Americans than the Republicans are and this is not as bad in the Democrats in the Senate either, they seem to have a little more common sense than the House Democrats do.

Dems are not better.
Seriously, pulling fire alarms to stop a vote????
Again, Tribalism at it's finest.
Vote EVERY career politician out of office, right, left or center.
This is the only way to "drain the swamp".

Most importantly, he made Democrats mad.

I hear he evicted Stiny Hoyer too.

More power to McHenry!

What version did you watch? Most of the Freedom Caucus voted to keep McCarthy. It was all the Dems, and then Gaetz and seven people that can still tolerate him, that voted McCarthy out.

I remember. He was wrong.

He was wrong also on Kelly, Mattis, Pompeo, Wray, Sessions, Burns, his daughter and son in law, and probably a few more.

With no institutional knowledge and an active traitor movement against him, he definitely got fooled a bit.

I think he’ll have a different plan second time around.

And keep in mind, nobody Trump appointed ever sucked as badly as Brinson, Levine, buttigieg, the disinformation chick who sang Mary Poppins songs, Milley, and a lot more sick mopes.

Yet you giggle like a little fella whenever DA’s AG’s judges courts and police are weaponized against Trump. That’s a bit of a break from tradition.

But you cry cry cry about a silly little closet and its ownership.

That’s OK nobody expects consistency, only hypocrisy.

What do you say, Stevieray?

What’s an accurate take on the world, in your mind?

It’s
A
Uniparty

Understand that. They were all just exposed!

How do you not understand this yet????!!!

Technically McCarthy is now the "Speaker Emerita". What about "tradition"?

So Gaetz is part of the "uniparty" but most of the GOP isn't? Or the entirety of the Dems aren't but most of the GOP are?

Yes! That states it perfectly.

Just plain nasty, rude, and unnecessary.

As a parent of at one time 4 teenage daughters Im well aware of she did this and that first crap. As someone has mentioned here I said the same WTF when she tore up Trump's agenda at the State of the Union, as when McHenry banged the gavel

the are plenty of other episodes of tantrums and scumminess to go around on both sides

we will only gert above it when we quit reveling in it when it isn't our side

GOP has RINOs who want to simply join up with the democrats so they’ll be part of a monolithic power grab, with no principles whatsoever.

MAGA is the only remaining part of the GOP that still has principles like constitutionalism, smaller govt, budget balancing, capitalism, private property, etc.

Dems have been taken over by anarchists, atheists, communists, nihilists, perverts, and criminals both in the streets and in D.C.

There’s literally 2 democrats who might not go all in with this group of sickos, sometimes. Manchin and Synema. And the DNC is working hard to ditch them.

Once again....

What Nancy did was rude, nasty and unnecessary, but the Left thought it was great.

Nancy gets kicked out of her office and NOW you have a problem with rude and nasty ?

Typical double standards.
