We can not longer say that there are 19 defendants in the Georgia RICO case into election tampering. There are now 18 defendants and one extra witness.

A bail bondsman charged alongside former President Donald Trump and 17 others in the Georgia election interference case pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges on Friday, becoming the first defendant to accept a plea deal with prosecutors.

Scott Graham Hall was one of the lowest people in the conspiracy among the indicted. He was charged with a few misdemeanors and each of those carried up to a year behind bars. In pleading guilty, he now gets five years probation, and becomes a cooperating witness.

Hall, 59, pleaded guilty to five counts of conspiracy to commit intentional interference with performance of election duties, all misdemeanors. Prosecutors had accused him of participating in a breach of election equipment in rural Coffee County and initially charged him with racketeering and six conspiracy charges.

This is how it works in these wide spanning organized crime cases. The prosecutors cast a wide net, get as many co-conspirators as they can and then wait for the smaller fish to turn on the bigger fish. Easy to notice that they agreed to give him no jail time, zero. All probation. This will make the other small fish think they can also come forward and get no jail time if they cooperate as well.

But nobody gets as good a deal as the first person that flips.

If you were faced with years in jail for something you didn’t do but they railroad you with no hope of getting it dropped no matter what you do, you take the plea.

When they get to Trump, Willis’s head is gonna spin so fast she will start orbiting the planet like the Goodyear blimp.

I'm not a smart man, but if I understand the OP

correctly The Government of Georgia gave a slap

on the wrist to someone they say helped stage one

of the greatest election interference schemes in

this Nation's history. If I lived in Georgia, I don't

think I would appreciate that.

I was once charged with felony fraud against the United States of America because they claimed that I had illegally filed for over $100 a week in unemployment due to a snafu at the unemployment lair. Even flew in a federal prosecutor from DC to try the case to make an "example" out of me.

Sadly, once I read the charges, I called my attorney and said "Uh, my unemployment was $80 a week"
"Don't say a word to anyone", he replied.

At the first day of the trial they all had a big old sidebar after which the big time prosecutor from DC sent to make an "example" threw some stuff around and stormed out.

Then they told me they would charge me for every week I collected unemployment unless I plead guilty and paid back the unemployment.

My attorney told me, "Unless you plead guilty and basically flip on yourself, you'll be in court for years and probably prison."

So I flipped.

Only a smart man would say they are not a smart man.

He got probation, in exchange for cooperation. Which means he now strengthens the case against the other 18. And probation is not a slap on the wrist. Depending on the conditions of his probation, if he commits any other offense the original punishment is brought back. It's a delayed sentence if the contract is broken, pretty much.

A deal like this was not made for no information, the prosecutors made the deal because they feel the information he has to provide is worth making the deal.

Nobody but them knows what that is at this point.

bull #e plea. The lawyers who are also charged have copies of papers they were given INVITING them to investigate the voting machines and get copies of the results. I doubt anyone who has money will flip because their rep is more important to them.

Hall strengthens the case against Powell. If Powell flips, she becomes the star witness against Rudy and Ellis. Rudy and Ellis have direct knowledge of Trump's actions. So if either of them flip the case against Trump becomes much stronger.

Clark, Still, Latham, and Shafer also all had their motions to have their cases removed to federal court denied today. My guess is one of them becomes the next to flip.

Doesn't matter.

The phonecall exonerates him, especially when combined with his duties as POTUS.

If the prosecution can provide no evidence that you did something because you didn't do it why would you admit to something you didn't do , would this not be a jury trial ?

*pats gortex on the head.

Cute but……..

There is a little thing called manufactured/fake evidence, they have been utilizing that against Trump for like 8 years now.
Everything has been faked by the Leftists, I see no reason to think this isn’t the same.

Some quick, simple facts.

Somewhere around 5-7% of criminal appeals are successful per year. That's about 50,000 cases.

Trials and appeals all come with a cost.

I appreciate the spirit.

My concern is on a slightly longer game and involves the pendulum theory.

This will come back to haunt all the TDS folks. Someday, there will be not only an equal but arguably greater reaction from the other "side." The fascism we see currently with the executive branch to social media companies to the media can be seized in the same manner.

Then enacted against them, but who will hear their cries?
