When freedom is not on your job, then where is freedom?

When freedom is not at home, then where is freedom?

When freedom is not in jail, then where is freedom?


When freedom is not always at hand, then where is freedom? Is freedom imprisoned? When freedom is not imprisoned then freedom is free. When freedom is free, can you take it?

When you are given you are free.

Freedom....... is in heaven.

Freedom comes from knowing the truth.

John 8:32

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.“

Pilot looked truth in the face and asked, “What is truth?”

John 14:6

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”

True freedom comes from truth and Jesus Christ is the truth.

It is funny. I will have 34 years served in this life sentence in January (Prob the only life sentence I could handle).

And I LOVE what I do.

But like you, there are songs and bands I never want to hear again, that I will hear 3 or 4 times today alone. It doesn't mean I don't appreciate the music or talent, but how many times do I have to hear zepplin!zeppelin!?

Verse 34 explains what it is one will be set free from. That's the subject there. John 8:31-34:

Then Jesus went on to say to the Jews who had believed him: “If you remain in my word, you are really my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” 33 They replied to him: “We are Abraham’s offspring* [Lit., “seed.”] and never have been slaves to anyone. How is it you say, ‘You will become free’?” 34 Jesus answered them: “Most truly I say to you, every doer of sin is a slave of sin.

So that's the freedom Jesus was talking about, freedom from the slavery to sin.
