This is amazing, a fellow had several of his chickens killed and eaten.

The fellow set up a caged trap, and was shocked to capture a very special and unique marsupial.

He had caught a Spotted tailed quoll which is the largest mainland predator.

The spotted tailed quoll was last recorded in 1880.

It was thought to be long extinct.

This is a great thing to see a comeback.

Just hope someone has not released them from captivity, it would be great to see the ban sequencing if it is an undocumented bloodline.

They are native to Australia, I take. I wonder if they would be able to deal with the rabbit plague.
