Got it. Confused as to why the defence forces, changed from the Blackhawk, to the mh90 and now back to the Blackhawk.
I guess it comes down to cost, though wonder if they have all the specialist equipment fot the Blackhawk’s, like tools, specialist equipment,
gantries, etc.
They did have a lot of the Blackhawk stuff.Unsure how much survives after they retired the Crackhawks in the first place..We had problems with the
Crackhawks due to Australia cutting costs and getting the upgraded civilian versions instead of the proper Military versions..Taipan was bought as we
were promised a "good deal" from Airbus the same people who gave us the EuroTigre (which also didnt work properly as advertised)..All n all another
great period of Australian Defense force spending
The NH90 has proven to be pretty ugly. Just about everyone that operates it has had issues with it, some serious. The -60 has the advantage of
maturity.
