Would it be very difficult to create a way for members to follow other members?

Would it be against the ethos of ATS?

Click on the icon below any members scoreboard, then go to wall, you can add them as a friend. They will be notified and then when you go to your own wall, you can see all their threads (not posts) on the left hand side.

All you have to do is go on to another member's profile and all their threads are listed there. Is that what you mean by following?

The little man icon under the stats.
Click that, pick View Posts.

Go to your wall. On the left side, there's a collum, titled "Following", that lists all the new threads your chosen friends have started.

There's also a button to click on any members wall that lets you make them your friend.

Yes, I know about that. A bit clunky and complicated, isn't it? I was thinking of something a bit slicker, e.g. with notifivations that you see when you open MyATS.

Sounds like you are about to stalk someone if the wall isn't enough but you want to get notifications as soon as someone posts.

Now your ethos question makes a lot more sense.
