Don't think I'll ever watch the film but probably also worth pointing out it was 'counterbalanced' with Oppenheimer to a huge degree.

I never had any interest in it. I'm obviously not it's target audience.

But the number of grown men I saw arguing about it was deeply concerning.

Why would any grown man go and see the Barbie movie let alone try to extrapolate some political message from it?

I haven't watched it, as someone else said, this aspect of the movie clearly wasn't hinted at in any of the trailers, the trailers made the film look superficial. Maybe I'll get round to watching it eventually but so many films these days seem vapid and empty without soul that I find it hard to watch any modern film.
