Maybe since it is now getting quite a bit of attention, someone will start some type of action but I don't have much hope. Good fence and sufficient ammo. Once we move to the new property there will be cameras. We also have some very good neighbors there.

I think all we can count on is helping each other. Where we live know just last week we had a high speed chase through our neighborhood. Nothing has been said identifying the suspects or info about them. Our neighborhood has one road in/out so they obviously were not familiar with the area. Used a rental car in robbery, took out the neighbors fence and then crashed on the interstate during rush hour.

Immediately pushed out of the news the next day by a stop and run for 7 illegals found in a stop on I-10. Heard they caught 6 nothing on whether or not they ever caught the last one.

Anyone who does not live in a border state doesn't have a clue about what it's like and how much crime is actually involved. It is scary but I wouldn't live any place but Texas.

I was born and raised in NM, about half an hour from the border. 60 years ago, men in small groups walked up the banks of the RIo Grande headed North every night.

The only thing that has changed is every year, the groups get larger.

At least back then, they would hide from 'La Migra'. Now they demand financial support and transportation to their relatives.

It's all politics. I agree with they are our replacements. Replacements for our jobs and votes. A lot of people lost their jobs with the last lockdown. Illegals and elites were not required to take the shot. It might happen again in an attempt to destroy the Trump voter base. Who knows 10,000 illegals a day could also be a sleeper army.

Because the govt pays more for hotel rooms for migrants, elderly and disabled are being turned out of these hotel rooms.

The fastest growing demograhic in homelessness is elderly. Inflation and rents are rising much faster than SSI and SSDI checks.

If all a person has is SSI from working a lifetime of lower paying work, they are in real trouble. It's a travesty. May as well go all Solent Green and ask people to sacrifice themselves for the common good at 62.
