You can't compare a refugee who comes with nothing with a retiree who has the privilege of working all their life who usually ends up with something.
Asylum seekers get government money UP TO 12 months only whereas retirees monthly checks keep a comin until death.
The fact that you are actually defending this is both unsurprising, and utterly disgusting.
lt would appear that way when one looks at is without compassion or empathy.

I'm on our side here, it's just that it's not a monthly check like OP posted but a 1 time check.

There are others here that agree me with me,
so considering the percentage of right-wing to the relative entire American population, I'd say you lose.

It appears nobody wants to read or know the facts or the reality. Interesting article which sheds the truth on what is really happening.

How compassionate are you for that 5 year old girl, found among a group of unrelated men? (In the OPs link) I wonder if they have the same compassion for that little girl?
Is that the "compassion" you're talking about? It's sick!

I was quoting the Colonel from his Tucker Carlson interview, and in my reply post the article also said it was $2,200 per month. They could both be wrong but that's what they both said.

But don't they then also get to get on assistance?
That is monthly.
I know they do here in MI.
In this 140 second clip, neo-Nazi Derek, played by Ed Norton, makes a speech about the southern border and the migrant issue back in 1998. Keep in mind, Bill Clinton, who was not an open border President, kept the flow from Mexico at a fraction of what it is now.
The era has changed but the story remains the same....the elites don't care about the destruction of America, American cities and the American workers.
The program will allow 242,700 an existing temporary protection designation in addition to roughly 472,000 Venezuelans expected to qualify for the new designation to receive work permits and stay in the U.S. without fear of removal, DHS said. Venezuelans qualifying for the program must have arrived before July
A little-known part of the Biden administration's CBP One parole program permits inadmissible aliens to make an appointment to fly directly to airports in the interior of the United States, bypassing the border altogether. Partial data on the program, just obtained by the Center for immigration Studies pursuant to a Freedom of Information Act request, reveals that more than 200,000 people from four countries have used this direct-flight and parole program over the past year.

I'm saying a lot of them don't.
And not being a US citizen, and having NOT paid taxes, they should not be getting assistance every month.
Immigrants are projected to drive future growth in the U.S. working-age population through at least 2035. As the Baby Boom generation heads into retirement, immigrants and their children are expected to offset a decline in the working-age population by adding about 18 million people of working age between 2015 and 2035.
