I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, I was unsure where to post it, but it's animals at least

I absolutely love elephants. So majestic, intelligent, fierce animals.

Especially the ending

I hope more wil donate as I'm sure they can always use the help. I procrastinate setting up a donation account , but will get to it now sooner

Didn’t have a shovel, 10 minutes of digging, silly girl
Drag it out and cause it stress
YouTube drama for donations, stupidest thing I ever seen

You are just being daft. What makes you think they'd risk their lives for youtube views? Do you even realize how dangerous an elephant rescue is ? They have to worry about any relatives, predators, they could get stuck themselves in the mud etc.
Elephants way a ton , in case you didn't realize. This elephant baby is 8 months old, and on average, a NEWBORN elephant weighs between 200-300 pounds. So you can have some perspective.

So, they can stand around a hole with a rope safely but, not a shovel or two
Ok, my apologies
I forget, sometimes I can just not see the obvious

Not that I noticed, less stressful on the animal and zero chance of hurting it as opposed to dragging it with a rope
But, that’s my opinion
You do you

I don't know what to say anymore. You're just looking for an arguement, but then you usually do on this forum.

How long do you think it would take for a few people using shovels (much less 1 shovel) ?
sounds like one that has not done much digging in their life.
The key is to get the animal out as quickly and efficiently as possible.
And what they did worked.

Havnt done much digging, indeed
It’s my opinion based on my experience, a shovel or two would have been less stressful and dangerous for the animal and as quick, probably faster
But dragging it with a rope makes good video I guess
