But as a pitch this is great. The secret CIA AI program that searches humanity for the Messiah. Has a Stranger Things feel. A hopeful religious spin. But there is a plot hole that would stop me from green lighting this.

First off, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has the most advanced artificial intelligence (AI) software known to man, and they use this AI to create propaganda, misdirection, and misinformation in our society to confuse and suppress us.
Is your post an example of the CIA's AI in action, creating propaganda and misinformation to confuse and suppress us?

Imagine a world where wireless devices are as small as a grain of salt. These miniaturized devices have sensors, cameras and communication mechanisms to transmit the data they collect back to a base in order to process. Today, you no longer have to imagine it: microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), often called motes, are real and they very well could be coming to a neighborhood near you. Whether this fact excites or strikes fear in you it’s good to know what it’s all about.
